You have more experience with people than I do given your career and background.
I do believe that persons can change the course of their lives, sometimes with divine intervention, sometimes with intervention of actual persons put in their paths by the divine to show them a better and different way.
I don't know what the outcome of this case is going to be, I do not have a good feeling for Hailey being recovered unharmed or recovered at all to put it bluntly and my heart is heavy for Clint and Naiomi.

Im not sure I expressed this yesterday, the past two days have been a "blur of angst" but while reviewing the raw videeo of Billie Jean Dunn-Dumm it occurred to me that she is speaking to what was found in her home as if it the first she is hearing of it.   The evidence was taken from her home WEEKS AGO & I would venture to say that she had some idea what they recovered then, so did Shawn.

Quite possibly, worthy of note is that Child Services showed up at Billie's door mid-January, I dont have a concrete date but judging by when it was first reported it was prior to Jan 20th.   The electronic search warrant was executed by the first week in Jan.   Child Service agencies are privy to information by LE that is otherwise kept confidential, it is very possible that the discovery of child pornography & bestiality was a good part of why David was being removed (voluntarily or otherwise if objected to) from his mother's home.   When it first came out I said her excuses of hecklers outside her house is NOT why they would remove David & many siblings of missing children have never been considered to be moved unless a clear and present danger may exist for them as well.

One more thing to ponder:   Billie was all set to go speak regarding human sex trafficking & her daughter's disappearance BUT since the evidence of child pornography & bestiality came out she specifically stated in her raw interview in response was that child porn has nothing to do with Hailey disappearance.  Child pornography has everything to do with human sex trafficking!

IMHO, there is a reason she is dismissing this now...guilty knowledge of possession

The case of missing Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn reached a grim milestone Sunday: It's now been two months since Hailey was last seen on Dec. 27.

After two months, the level of activity in the case has slowed considerably: An early January frenzy has been reduced to the steady pace of a long-term investigation.

Officials now acknowledge that finding Hailey could take many more months – even years.

Pete Kampfer, city manager of Colorado City and a former FBI agent himself, said that of all the cases he has worked on – and other investigators agreed with him – this case “is the one that has baffled us the most.”

The only think that even remotely makes sense to me, is that she was talking about straight porn intead of child porn (hence the pleasure comment), also that is what was first reported when the info came out......to think otherwise is just too disgusting to imagine, but that was my gut instinct when I read that quote (that she thought is was porn sans the child adjective)

I read the same type of comments about the porn. Maybe when those persons hear the word " porn" they don't hear the " child " in front of it and assume something akin to Playboy type material. In Canada, the laws are tough and the sentences are high for this type of deviant child porn. As a society this evil affects us all.
I am hoping that he sent and received across state lines. The number of images, > 100,000
is frightening. I read what Titch posted about how long it takes to assemble the electronic evidence. I hope Shawn is having to change his underwear frequently, he is done.

What I am hoping for Clint is that today, he meets some persons who are of a different type that what he has been associated with in the past and that they can lift him up. He doesn't seem like an aggressive person, passive seems to describe him. Or that he can't envision a better life for himself. From the little that we have seen of him, I believe he has a good heart and a good soul.
He is young and has a far way to go in his life and most persons here and on other boards want him to do better. It is Sunday and I do make myself think about spiritual things and today I am going to pray that Clint finds his way and also that he finds someone that believes in him that can carry him emotionally until he can get better.

I watched this last night and again I shouldn't have been shocked but she didn't even mention Hailey's name ONE time just that she talked a little to Shawn and needs to talk to LE to clear things up, WTF??? How do you "clear up" child porn and bestiality found in your panty drawer hidden, I mean am I missing something?

It was very interesting to say the least, was written in 1989 and was hoping to eliminate the porn problem. With the up and coming  computer revolution the porn industry has unfortunately evolved into an International epidemic.
