This weekend, both Billie and Clint Dunn, Hailey's parents had been asked to speak at a human traffic awareness event in Mansfield, in the metroplex.

The executive director of "Traffik 911", Deena Graves released this statement, "Traffick911 is deeply saddened by this revelation. Any child in a pornographic image is a trafficked child and our organization is driven to stop the trafficking of children in any form. Under the circumstances, Billie Dunn will not speak at the rally. Clint Dunn will speak and we will hold the candlelight vigil for Hailey. This is about Hailey and missing and exploited children everywhere. The images found underscore how critical it is to focus on demand and help people understand how pornography drives this horrific crime against our children."

Missing teen's father urges faster action at anti-trafficking rally

The former boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, is the only suspect authorities have named, according to the Abilene Reporter-News. Some of the images that law enforcement personnel confiscated depict bestiality and child pornography, the newspaper reported.

"He was the last one to see my daughter alive, and that's why I think the police are spotlighting him," Clinton Dunn said. "I don't want to think he's guilty. If he's guilty, that means my daughter is probably dead, and I don't want to think like that."

Dunn said he traveled to Mansfield to raise awareness about human trafficking and missing-children cases. Precious time was wasted as officers inexperienced in tracking missing children worked on his daughter's case, he said.

"After two months, we're still at square one," he said. "We need better laws, and we need to start thinking outside the box on these cases."

MANSFIELD, TX -   Clint Dunn, father of missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn, joined hundreds of people in a rally against human trafficking in Mansfield, Texas, Sunday.

The rally was hosted by Traffik 911, an organization that raises awareness for sexual slavery.
 
Clint Dunn said while he hates to think such a horrible thing could happen to his daughter, he's not ruling it out.

"I've been scared of that since the beginning. That's why I went to Mexico twice handing out flyers," said Dunn.

He said the thought of his daughter being forced into sexual slavery breaks his heart.

"There's no words to describe the feeling. It's just so scary," Dunn said.

I read at Statement Analysis and I agree with most of what he writes. He can lay off Clint as far as I am concerned. We do not know what efforts Clints was making to obtain Hailey full time. We do not know if he had been trying to get a divorce, we just don't know.
The other thing to consider is DD. Clint was his Dad for a long time and it is obvious he still has feelings for DD. What good would it do for him to trash Billie and wreck any future relationship he might want to have with DD ? DD is a victim in this also. He was removed from that home, not by his choice or Billie's, they went in there, presented some papers to her and she had no choice but to let him be placed with a relative or he would go into foster care.
And because it was CPS we will never know. But, they must have felt he was in imminent danger.

Nevermind - she said "dad" referring to Clint.  To clear up my mistake, the quote is:

This blog radio show from what Ive heard in recent weeks is more about support for families of the missing & they express many times that they are not investigatory or law enforcement so their mission is to just to provide support which is admirable.   That being said,

This blog radio show doesnt need to be having any empathy for Billie whatsoever & if they are not willing to ask the hard questions all it is going to do is serve as a venue for Billie to tell us more lies & play the victim...that is if she even goes thru with it or isnt in jail already.   Billie doesnt deserve any support or sympathy, NONE.   Then again, let her talk away and bury herself further so there is an upside to it.

On another note, why are there still people minimizing what was found in her personal dresser drawer?  Dont they realize that it is her responsibility to know what is in her own dang house?   Dont they realize that the last place anyone else would hide something from her would be a personal space she goes in and out of on a regular basis?  Don't they get it, they watch gore & murder, now we find out child pornography & bestiality as well, yet some are still playing her as some victimized lovelorn fool...no, she knows darn well what she has chosen to participate in!    Im outraged that a few individuals everywhere I look are making excuses for her or trying to make it out to be less than it is.   Its a felony, a crime against minor children!   How would they feel if it was their child, sister, brother, niece, nephew, etc.?  There is NOTHING about child pornography (under 18) that is acceptable or "not so bad," NOTHING!  Shawn is not the only one to be concerned with in this case, she is flat out lying & supporting him even after this vial evidence became public knowledge.  My God, we discuss how children are heinously victimized by this evil every dang day in so many cases...Im sorry but some really need to wake the F up and get their heads out of the sand!  Yea, I'm agitated to say the least!  As far as I'm concerned anyone with that mindset doesnt need to concern themselves with missing & exploited children or murdered children.    Rant over...sad thing is it didnt even come close to making me feel better for it.

Me - This is why I'm careful with Peter's site. I think his blog is incredibly interesting, and I agree with him just about every single time I go to his site, but I've noticed some of his info is erroneous and has absolutely no basis. How does he know what Clint's shared with CCity Police, the FBI, or the Texas Rangers? Answer is he doesn't know, he couldn't possibly know unless Clint shared that with him or the police shared it with him. I highly doubt the police shared it with him. However, he needs to be careful imo, bc one area in the world may say things differently than another area. As an example, England says chips, the USA says fries. Same goes for places within the US. Texas speak is way different than NJ speak. California slang is completely different than any New England state. Better yet, NYC / Manhattan slang is entirely different than Scurry County Texas slang. IMO, sometimes Peter might not take that into consideration and some words of choice may appear to have a negative connotation when in all reality it could just be how they talk.

Not trying to downgrade what he does as I personally think it's amazing, neat for a better word. Just because sometimes I might read his opinion and go away thinking "Huh?" doesn't mean I'll stop reading his site. I love what he does! I do not however believe it's gospel, though, iykwim. One thing I wish he'd consider is the possibility that Billie could be intelligent and very street smart, therefore she could have been "dumbing it down" so to speak.

It's his interpretation. The words are there, he interprets their meaning. Kind of like forensic astrology. The stars are there, no changing it, but it's the way the astrologer interprets the star placements, knowing that each star's placement has a whole set of meanings.
