This comes from a sexual abuse survivor who lived with her abuser for 16 years.  When I heard that Hailey had complained about SA hanging around her room at night my "perp alert" went off.  Most everything that I observed as a victim can be seen on the link above.  I agree with most of it except that I don't think SA has the moral gumption to off himself.  Mine lived until lung cancer took him through a slow, painful death.  Perps are the ultimate manipulator -- he can, will, and has justified what he did to Hailey and, in his opinion, it was her fault or someone else's, not his.  Sexual predators are rabid dogs -- shoot them from the first symptom because they don't get any better.

She showed up!

Dealing with a lot of stress by spending time with family.  More stress has come up since the evidence regarding the computer and memory stick. 

Moderator making nicey, nicey about the "real" Billy she has gotten to know.

Billy asked and has been allowed to see some of the images.  But it was not her flashdrive.  Says it was found in SA's dresser and she didn't know about it.  Some images of her and SA in their "private lives."

I'm sorry to hear about your abuse, but I want to thank you for sharing so candidly your impressions on what was written.  I agree that I don't see SA committing suicide.  I see him running.  Maybe it would be different if he were cornered. 

Again, thank you so much for sharing your particular view from your experience.

She didn't see any child porn on the flash drive but did see some/one on the computer that wasn't "in her house".  Refers to SA's mother as "the lady."  Denies knowing what a thumb drive or memory stick is. But knows it is used to download pictures and it is put in a computer.

Describing SA:  always been really good to her and treated her and the kids very well.  Had arguments but has never been physically abusive.  Has done more for her than anyone. 

Hailey is lovely, loud, and a blast to be around.  Good kid, smart, enjoys making people laugh.

Home life:  (before)  Thought it was finally on track, perfect.  Good relationship with sa and get them what they wanted for christmas and go on trips.

Riiight.  But I wonder if she would let Billy babysit.

"I just need my daughter home.  I mean, I get tired of people running their mouths.  .... She's my daughter."

And a lot of stuff about her not getting this, not getting that, NOthing about the fact that Hailey needs to be found because she's in deseperate trouble, if not dead.  What about Hailey???  'I didn't get enough years with (her)', but Hailey - might not have gotten enough years of life!  WHAT about Hailey??

Denies CPS was ever involved with the family and then retracts and relates when David "marked on himself with something"  she brought home from work.  Case quickly dismissed; CPS interviewed Hailey and others.

Do you know where Hailey is?  No, I wish I did.  She is my daughter.  I just need my daughter home.

Hailey Dunn's School Begins Scholarship Fund

Colorado Middle School is starting a scholarship fund in 13-year old Hailey Dunn's name.

Administrators say all the funds raised from the sale of $2 "Hope for Hailey" bracelets will go toward the scholarship.

They're talking to Billy now about the fact that SA has had and might still be having affairs.  And she just said that she and SA  "We're not together anymore"  "physically saw him, last Friday" is the last time she saw him and talked to him today.  She's crying about SA, but wasn't about Hailey.

She was busy looking for Hailey for three or four hours before SA called her and that was when she told him that Hailey had not been at Mary Beth's. 

She claims that she flunked polygraph because of anti anxiety and also because she had just been interviewed and that was stressful.

She is willing to take another one.  But only by someone entirely different.
