I'd be curious what Clint would be able to tell us was in his home (technically it is still his home) prior to Billie hooking up with Shawn during their marriage before he left.  It doesnt escape me that Billie met Shawn on line & something tells me that she didnt communicate with him on line just at work.   If I were Clint I would kick Billie to the curb from that home, his children are not residing there & the deed is in his name.   By all accounts, she only made one payment on the house, the last one...Id like to see what the facts are on paper.

Good Morning Capp

I realize that Billie and Clint are not divorced but ... in Canada ... 50% of assets acquired throughout the marriage is afforded to each spouse in a settlement.

Nevertheless ... the following article implies that Clint and Billie are joint owners of the home.

Did Clint pay Billie child support?

In my opinion ... when respective lifestyles are considered ... neither Billie nor Clint were worthy of the treasure that God gave them ... the treasure named Hailey.

According to tax records, the Dunns still collectively own their home at 1804 Chestnut, which they purchased in November 2001. Clinton Dunn owned 1143 Chestnut until 2008.

There are some people who are going around demanding or begging for money. I am disgusted that these individuals who never held down jobs are exploiting Hailey to get a handout. I’ve always worked and supported my kids by myself, and I will return to work as soon as I am able.

Morning Janet!

I'm not sure Janet, it was also reported that Clint bought two (2) homes & he was the owner.   I've learned never to take a local news article without realizing an error possibly is being made on occasion.  For that reason, I would love to see the deed & other official documents regarding the home that Billie resides in to confirm just what it is for a fact.   As far as what Billie states, I'm not inclined to believe a word out of her mouth, although I'm sure that she did by and large financially take care of her children for their daily needs.   Her statement is interesting though because for someone who went thru the bother to get certified as a nurse, she sure was just as irresponsible to lose that job & its future potential because she didnt do what she was supposed to do to retain her license, now revoked.  Having to be a stripper to make ends meet when she had the way out of the muck right in her hands is just as irresponsible & far too ridiculous.

Regardless, my main point is I'd like to know from him what computers, electronic devices, etc. existed in the home right up to the moment he no longer resided there.   Yes, we've agreed numerous times that Clint's lifestyle choices may have prevented this from happening to Hailey & no he's not a candidate for father of the year.  I have to agree that neither conducted themselves as the blessed parents of this beautiful child as they should have, I personally just put more blame on one than the other as to the direct cause that Hailey is most likely no longer with us.

Regarding the home, here is how this works in Texas with property.

Apparently, Clint inherited the home.  It can be assumed it was during the marriage for the sake of argument.  If the home is inherited during the marriage, but BD never put money into its general upkeep or payments, then it would fully belong to Clint during divorce proceedings.  If BD put any payments into the home, then it becomes contested if they divorce.   BD did put one payment in, and likely at this point has put money into its upkeep and taxes, etc, so if they divorce, or even if they don't, she can contest that he can't kick her out.

If they divorce, they will have to come to terms on the house.

We don't know what Clint was doing wrt trying to get a divorce. He might have consulted a lawyer. He should consult one again. Put something against the house so that it can't be used as bail for when she is arrested. Sometimes when persons file for a divorce, the assets are frozen until the divorce issue is resolved
And she will be for the porn, I am certain of that. That is if she is still alive, given Shawn's temper and the rampant mental instability they have both displayed recently and in the past.

He might be waiting for LE to make a move and she gets out of the way via the courts and time in jail. But he should prepare himself with papers ready to file.
...........
I have been reading and I did listen to parts of the Bring Them Home with Billie and then with Shawn. They are both nauseating POS's. Ain't love grand. !
..
I am a devil. And I do have a blue dress.
I would like to hear what this girl, the one who was obsessed with Shawn has to say. Was she really told to back off ? Or did Shawn tell her that morning from his Mama's that Billie and him broke up ( for the 666th time ).
Stir the pot and turn the cauldren to fry 'em.

That's what I thought, too, magnolia. I have no idea if Connie remarried or what. Sometimes people are with somebody for such a long time, but never married, yet they say husband and wife. maybe it's one of those deals...but is there a man in Connie's life that we know of? I'm not sure, didn;t pay as much attention to that...

Whatchu think?

There was a marriage license issued to Connie Lou Stewart and Brian Glasco,
Clint's half brother.  But I don't think the marriage ever took place.
It is all confusing.  They are all intermingled.
I have seen a Cindy Glasco post on  FHD FaceBoook.

In my world ... since the age of 18 ... there has never been a "yours" or "mine".  When hubby and I recited those vows 45 years ago ... the term has been "ours" ... no matter who the cheque was made payable to.  Sometimes I think we have stayed together because of the home we have raised our kids and loved for almost 40 years.  During arguments ... we have both said ... "There's the door" but neither have exited.

We are off to lunch with our eleven year old grandson.  The choice of restaurant and after lunch activity is all up to him.  It is a special weekend because this young man  does not have to compete with any of his three siblings for Mama and Papa's attention.

Have a good Saturday all.

There are military searchers ( volunteer ) from Ft. Hood helping with the search, but what location ?
..
I don't think Shawn is so stupid as to place Hailey on his G'Ma's property or his Mama's property. Probably somewhere deserted that he saw alot of on his drive to work and then the drive to Dunn and to Big Spring.

I had hoped for that same sort of thing in my generation, Janet.  Sadly, even if people decide to part amicably these days, the paperwork still drags you through every bit of it just as if there were a huge argument.  Unfortunately, even though it's been said that CD and BD have tried to be amicable, there do seem to be so many times where they have had to call the CPS on each other - and that is heartbreaking.  I'm sure, particularly because of the disappearance of Hailey, that any proceedings that take place now will be nasty.  What a shame.  Hailey just wanted peace in her family.
