Our Granddaughter spent the night here per her request, on Sat.
Being the same age as Hailey Dunn, this case is tough. I look
at my naive, 13.5 year old Granddaughter and
cannot imagine her being exposed to any of this porn, or monsters of evil.

She and I did have a GOOD heart to heart chat about being abducted, etc.
We role played parts of victim and perp and I think it was a fun, healthy,
educating experience for her.

IF I were in Clint's shoes or his Mom, I
cannot even imagine wanting to see the sun rise.
I would probably shut down.
Bad things happen to many, but I hope I have been proactive in prevention
of them for the future.

Hailey Search: Could It Take "Months or Years"?

Ok, Know that I speak only for myself and that this is just my opinion and should involve no one but myself. I believe that Shawn raped and killed Hailey in the middle of the night and then told Billie what had happened, that's when they co...ncocted their story. I think he dismembered her the next morning in the 2 hours he had in ccity and then took her to a hidden location to dispose of her. I don't think we'll find her. I am writing this, barely able to see through my tears as I hate the thoughts I have about what has happened to this precious neice of mine. Fred I'm so sorry! I personally think that for pedophiles, child pornographers, beast lovers and the like, that prison is too good for them. I believe that they should all be placed into a room together in groups of 20 and given a single dull knife and then told when there is only one, we'll feed you. Do that each day till they're all gone. Then maybe the next "Hailey" will get to have her life and love and children of her own.

I agree with the Uncle's statement except for the dismembering at the house.
I think Hailey was dead before Shawn and Billie left for work.  I think she was
taken to a vehicle before daylight. 

ITA......this is Mary Cooper's husband. She was on BTR with Connie Jones a few days ago...I also think this is along the lines of what Connie thinks happened sadly

I tend to believe she was drugged and taken elsewhere, thus no forensics at Billie's house (or I should clarify, that we know of).

That or a "soft kill-smothering, choking"....I think that is how Caylee died, Laci Peterson, HaLeigh Cummings and Hailey (drugs or soft kills). I would have liked them  to have searched that couch for DNA or Hailey's sheets

Clint's mom, sister and BIL have it figured out.  Why does Clint and Billie insist on directing focus away from Shawn in regards to the disappearance of their daughter despite all the red flags?

Hailey's Dad: Yes, There May Be Another Person To Look At

A week after Hailey's mom said there is another person who should be looked at, Clint Dunn reacts.

Hailey's father says yes, there is a potential person to be looked at. "He needs to be looked at because we knows the family good. People who know Hailey the best need to be looked at first. He's up there at the top of the list of people that need to be looked at," said Dunn

Dunn said nobody can be ruled at. "We don't know what's happened here. There's not a clue so we have to expect the unexpected," added Clint Dunn.

The unnamed person, who authorities are yet to indentify, may be a person close to the Dunn family. Both Billie and Clint said this person is somebody who knows the family well. They said investigators haven't been able to find this person to bring in for questioning. "That brings us to the point where we think that the police are not doing what they're supposed to be doing. They're sitting there twiddling their thumbs , which we don't know, he may just be a hard person to find," Dunn said.

He added he does not think Billie Dunn is bringing this person up just to get the blame off of her or her former live in boyfriend and only named suspect in the case. "We may not be on the same page but I don't think she's intentionally trying to get the attention off of herself," said Dunn.

He looks like he's had a serious wake up call.  his latest messages on FB are very different than usual, too!  Braced, stronger, and bolder.  God, I hope so.

First off, this article should correct something   Billie did not cancel as we well know.   The organization running the event cancelled her appearance due to the evidence that came out.

Now, this statement from Clint certainly does explain how he is feeling:

The former boyfriend, Shawn Adkins, is the only suspect authorities have named, according to the Abilene Reporter-News. Some of the images that law enforcement personnel confiscated depict bestiality and child pornography, the newspaper reported.
"He was the last one to see my daughter alive, and that's why I think the police are spotlighting him," Clinton Dunn said. "I don't want to think he's guilty. If he's guilty, that means my daughter is probably dead, and I don't want to think like that."

Yes, that explains a lot to me, too.  I had heard it said that people whose kids go missing NEED to believe, need to have hope, need to keep thinking of their kids as being alive.  I believe maybe it was Carrie saying that on video, but I could very well be wrong.  It did hit home, and this really nails it home for me.  I can't say anything to that.  There are some things he says because he needs, but he STILL gets out and is now going outside of his comfort zone (talking in public, looks like he's cleaning up, etc) for his daughter.  I hope that what we're seeing continues and grows.  Hailey needs an adult in her life.  If she still has a life.     I'm just not feeling hopeful for her today.
