Beth and Natalee Holloway return to LIFETIME.

Birmingham, Al (WIAT)  Almost six years after Natalee Holloway disappeared on a school trip to Aruba there are still many more questions than answers.  But as that grim anniversary approaches, Natalee's case is taking center stage on the Lifetime Network.

"Justice for Natalee Holloway" will premiere on the network May 9...followed by a sneak peek at a new series, "Vanished with Beth Holloway."  The movie is a sequel that picks up Natalee's story years after her disappearance and includes the bizarre timing of prime suspect Joran van der Sloot's involvement in a murder case in Peru.

Van der Sloot, who was never charged by Aruban authorities, has spent the past eleven months in prison in Peru.  He's charged with the murder of a 21 year old Peruvian student he met at a poker tournament.  The body of Stephany Flores was found in van der Sloot's Lima hotel room five years to the day of Natalee's disappearance in Aruba.

I want those little leprechauns to have to be cross examined by Dr. Phil's attorney's. Will this potentially throw the case out? Not that that is a bad thing, but I just want the ability to ask those twin leprechauns where they've gotten the money to finance the lawsuit, because we all know they got no money.

Lifetime Original Movie "Justice for Natalee Holloway" to Premiere May 9, Followed by Sneak Peek of True-Life Series "Vanished with Beth Holloway"
By Bill Gorman– April 11, 2011

Vanished with Beth Holloway to Begin Airing in its Regularly Scheduled Time Period on Wednesday, May 11, at 9 PM ET/PT.

LOS ANGELES (April 11, 2011) – Lifetime Television’s Original Movie, Justice for Natalee Holloway, a follow-up to the Lifetime Movie Network original Natalee Holloway, will premiere on Monday, May 9, at 9 pm ET/PT.

Immediately following Justice for Natalee Holloway at 11 pm ET/PT, Lifetime will debut a sneak peek of the true-life series, Vanished with Beth Holloway. The one-hour docu-reality program explores first-hand real-life mysteries of families who have been victimized by unsolved abductions, disappearances and unspeakable crimes, with Holloway offering a uniquely empathetic point of view to the loved ones that have been left behind. Lifetime has ordered 10 episodes of Vanished with Beth Holloway, which will begin airing in its regularly scheduled time period on Wednesday, May 11, at 9 pm ET/PT.

ABOUT JUSTICE FOR NATALEE HOLLOWAY

As a follow up to the original movie Natalee Holloway, the Lifetime Original Movie Justice for Natalee Holloway closes in on the ongoing mystery of what exactly happened to the Alabama teenager who in 2005 mysteriously disappeared during her senior class trip to Aruba. Four years after Natalee went missing, Joran van der Sloot (Stephen Amell, The Vampire Diaries), one of the last persons to see her alive, continues to torment her grieving mother Beth by providing false information about Natalee’s fate, yet denying any responsibility for what happened to her. Tracy Pollan (Natalee Holloway, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) reprises her role as Beth Holloway.

Growing more arrogant about his professed innocence and finding himself increasingly in debt as his life and gambling habits spiral out of control, van der Sloot does the unthinkable by demanding $250,000 from Beth to reveal the exact location of Natalee’s remains. Intent on bringing her daughter’s alleged murderer to justice, Beth once again partners with the FBI and other authorities to find and arrest him. But before they can, the saga takes another twisted turn when van der Sloot allegedly murders a young Peruvian woman on the 5th anniversary of Natalee’s tragic disappearance.

ABOUT VANISHED WITH BETH HOLLOWAY

Now left with little hope, they turn to Holloway, who continues to live a mother’s worst nightmare as she carries on her tireless quest to uncover the mystery surrounding her daughter Natalee’s tragic 2005 disappearance. A passionate advocate for these families, Beth offers her unique insight into each case, dedicating her intensely personal point-of-view and empathy to family and loved ones seeking answers. Each episode will profile real-life mysteries, giving detailed accounts of the events described by those closest to the victims as Beth goes on location to conduct key interviews, introduce important facts and give the audience a clear understanding of pivotal moments in each harrowing case.

If the Dr. Phil team wins the Summary Judgement, set now for April 14th then it's over, the Kalpoe's lose and will likely have to pay hundreds of thousands in attorney fees.  If the judge rules NO to the Summary Judgement on April 14th, then the trial should go ahead as planned on June 13, 2011.

Grace-land - the DENIED is referencing the short lived suit filed by Beth against the Kalpoes that was tied in with the Dr. Phil case sortof.  It was thrown out:

Twitty/Holloway
Case Number:  BC363407 (now denied)

Kalpoe
Case Number:  BC363201 (ongoing)

Thanks, Klaas. Although I'd like to see the Leprechauns deposed on the stand just to watch them squirm. I also would like to see Dr. Phil go after the attorney's fees and have a few shows about the whole case, who funded it, and why he believe's they funded it.

Melody????

If it is, she needs to climb out of Anita's ass long enough to get a good dose of reality.

Maybe she should spend a little time educating herself on just how far Anita has gone over the past almost six years to blame Natalee and her family for her disappearance.  How many lies she's told and promoted through others.

Joran was a seventeen year old spoiled brat that was accustomed to getting and doing anything he wanted (with no limits, and no consequences) when he targeted Natalee Holloway.  He should have never been in the casino, with or without his father.  He should have never been in Carlos n Charlie's.  But he was.  He was not only in those establishments underage, but was well known to frequent them and target tourist girls on their final night in Aruba.

Joran is the product of his enabling parents.  He learned to lie from the master...his mother.

Even after Joran has more than likely murdered two beautiful young girls with their whole lives ahead of them...Anita STILL has the audacity to blame the victims.

(June 2010)

Anita van der Sloot:

"What I saw of him with his friends going out, were good looking guys and American girls would come to them...and it's still the same.  I mean...these girls are coming here also to party and to have a good time."
 ::snipping2::

That statement should be given to every American tourist that boards a plane to Aruba.

Natalee wasn't the first victim of Joran and his friends and what they considered a "good time".  There's a reason they chose their targets and waited until their final night on the island to strike.  That "good time" courtesy of Joran and his pimp friends wasn't the good time any of those girls were looking for.

Natalee didn't survive it.

Anita knows it and the Aruban police knew it too in 2005.  I'd be willing to bet that even Melody knows it!

Melody has been a parent a few years now, and thinks she knows so much.  I hope she's learning her parenting skills from somewhere other than at Anita's knee.  Anita is grieving for her husband and heartbroken for her "troubled" son????  Maybe one of these days Melody's heart will really be shattered enough to look into the eyes of Natalee's parents, of Stephany's parents to see what real grief looks like.

Maybe she should take a few minutes to look into her own daughter's eyes and think about Natalee.  Think about Beth and Dave...Natalee's brother...grandparents...all those that love her... NOT KNOWING for SIX LONG YEARS...where she is???...and what they did to her that prevented them from ever being willing to return her remains to her family????...  Then she needs to think about Stephany...violently beaten and then strangled to MAKE SURE she was dead...left in a room with orders to not disturb for days while the killer fled...think about her parents...look into their eyes and see their grief.

Would she feel the same about Anita if Natalee or Stephany had been her sister, her daughter, anyone she loved????

Anita hasn't lost her son, she's still doing all she can for him.  She hasn't missed a beat.

Anita believes in karma too...  Well she should, her oldest son delivered a mega dose of it to her on the fifth anniversary of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.  Her mentality begged for it for five long years while Natalee's family suffered and she covered for him and conspired against them.

But what was Anita's first inclinations about it?  Set up.

I hope Melody will remember that.

And now Kailey may be Joran's?  Really?  Or is Melody looking for five more minutes of fame?  What an awful way to get it if that's it!  Poor Kailey!  Even the suggestion of such, if that truly was Melody posting...as a mother...I find it unthinkable.

She asks "so what?"

Maybe she'll figure that out when Kailey's a teenager, and has lived/is living with the notoriety of "maybe" being the daughter of the monster, the murderer.

Klaas,

I understand that there is a continuance of the Motion for Summary Judgment; however, in the document above, what was "DENIED"?

Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed - December, 2006

Natalee's Parents Sue Kalpoe Brothers
December 15, 2006

Two brothers from Aruba, twice arrested in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway, filed a lawsuit this week in Los Angeles against talk show host Dr. Phil, opening themselves up to the jurisdiction of the California courts. Natalee's parents, Beth Twitty and Dave Holloway, immediately filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the Kalpoes in the same court.

Deepak and Satish Kalpoe filed a defamation suit against Dr. Phil, CBS, Paramount, and others over an interview they claimed "was manipulated and later broadcast by the 'Dr. Phil' show as being accurate and which portrays Deepak Kalpoe and Satish Kalpoe 'as engaging in criminal activity against Natalee Holloway and constitutes defamation per se.'"

When the Kalpoes filed their lawsuit Wednesday, it opened them up to civil jurisdiction of the California courts under a "related case" lawsuit, according to the attorney for Natalee's parents. A day after the Kalpoes filed, the Alabama teen's parents filed against the Kalpoes.

The family's lawsuit claims the Kalpoes caused the death of Natalee Holloway by "intentionally, negligently, wantonly ... unlawfully conducting themselves" to bring about her fatal injuries.

"All we want is justice for our daughter. There is no doubt in my mind that Deepak and Satish played a role in my daughter's death and should be held accountable," Beth Twitty said in a news release. "It is unconscionable that they have not been punished so far."

Wrongful Death Lawsuit Dismissed - June, 2007

Judge Tosses Wrongful Death Lawsuit in Holloway Case
Saturday, June 02, 2007

LOS ANGELES —  A judge dismissed a wrongful-death lawsuit Friday against two Aruba brothers filed by the parents of a teenager who vanished during a vacation there.

The parents of Natalee Holloway cannot sue in Los Angeles because the case has no California connection and the courts lack jurisdiction over the brothers, Superior Court Judge Charles C. Lee said in granting a motion to toss out the lawsuit.

Elizabeth Ann Twitty of Alabama and Dave E. Holloway of Mississippi will decide whether to appeal, said their attorney, John Q. Kelly.

"There are all kinds of promising issues," Kelly said after the ruling.

A similar lawsuit filed in a New York court against another Aruba man, Joran van der Sloot, was thrown out by a judge last summer.

Jurisdiction!!

NANCY GRACE
Judge Dismisses Holloway Suit
Aired August 11, 2006 - 20:00:00   ET

BETH HOLLOWAY TWITTY, NATALEE HOLLOWAY'S MOTHER: Well, the facts still remain that those are the last suspects known to be seen with Natalee alive. And everybody knows of their repeated lies that they told the authorities, even their father, Paulus Van Der Sloot. That`s why he was arrested. There was a reason that he was arrested in Natalee`s disappearance. It was not unwarranted whatsoever.

And you know -- and being dismissed in New York, it was on a procedure ruling.  Here again, jurisdiction.  We have faced that issue since May 30 of 2005.  Jurisdiction and extradition hve hit us in the face every time.
