I find myself looking up in the rafters  still expecting to see 2NJ, but of course,   she's not signed in.  It's going to take a long, long time for it to sink in for me that she won't be posting with us anymore.

<Respectfully snipped by Tamikosmom>

Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it
.

WE HAVE THIS MOMENT

Tender words, gentle touch and a good cup of coffee
And someone who loves me and wants me to stay
Hold them dear while they’re near don’t wait for tomorrow
To look back and wish for today.

We have this moment to hold in our hands
And to touch as it slips through our fingers like sand
Yesterday's gone and tomorrow may never come
But we have this moment, today.

Thank you Red, I know she would feel so honored.   an angelic monkey

And then she would have said something that made us all laugh...that was her way.

She did bring many a smile, provoked so many thoughts, and added such a special touch to our research.  She is so very deserving of this kindness that you've shown by honoring her with the other celebrities lost this year.

I still miss her so...but she's always in my heart.   Crying or Very sad

Sorry to hear this and it makes me sad.  I miss Peaches too and makes one value every moment we are here.. A short story about a year ago my friends wife found out that she had cancer and I drove up to TN to see them.  Her daughter was getting married in a few weeks and she was hoping that she could be there for it.. Well the night I got there I saw she was in distress and told her husband that his wife looked in distress, so he took her to the hospital.  A few days later I came by to say my goodbyes and told her that she needed to conserve her energy so she could make her funeral.  I meant to say her daughter's wedding but funeral came out.. I wanted to run away but she laughed and said she had come to terms with dieing.  I left and a few days later she passed away and did not get to see her daughter married.  She did tell me the day we had together with me taking her to see her doctor for an appointment and then getting lost and finding a place eat was the most fun she had in a long time.  So I guess we never know.. I do a lot of bike riding, swimming and running, I think its because I want to enjoy everyday because we really don't know if we will be here tomorrow, so enjoy today..

This week is your birthday, and I am celebrating the blessing of your birth. How fortunate to have had you as a part of our lives, albeit a way too short time.

Happy Birthday R. Miss you every day.

Well I missed her birthday, but I've thought about her every day.

So many things I'd like to tell her, so many things I want to know what she'd think about them.

I miss her perspective so much, just miss everything about her!   Crying or Very sad

Happy belated birthday 2NJ, we all miss you so much!
