Dictators and mob rule.  What happened to "We the people"?

Some have called Scott Walker a dictator because he refuses to compromise.  What compromise?  Don't we send people to our government houses to do the will of the people?  The will of the people may be different in each district in Wisconsin, but isn't that the point of representative government?

Should a mob of outsiders in Wisconsin determine the direction of our state?  Property taxes?  Income taxes?  Business taxes?  Entitlement spending?

What happened to the will of the people?  Why would anyone think mob rule should ever substitute for the 'will of the people'?
