Where's Titch ... Starwynn ... Island Monkey?  So many of our Monkey friends who have been following the Hailey Dunn case are not here to share in the moment we have all been waiting for.

I know, wth, I missed this??  Not missing it now.  trying to catch up - will keep reading, and say more when I'm at the end if there's ever an end to posts tonight.

Just at this moment, I am so mixed - at one hand I'm elated, and on the other hand - this means some bad news and that makes me want to cry.  Boy that's a mixed up set of feelings!!

I agree.   I'm happy that arrests are being made but it comes at the cost of Hailey's life.  I saw this starting to unfold on FB but I was at work.   And then I didn't want to leave until I knew but it got too late.   So I've just arrived home and I have a headache and my stomach feels a bit weird.   

I just hope that either Billie and Shawn tell us what happened or it is revealed from LE.   

Since I'm new to this, will Billie be able to post bond to get out, IF, she has funds?

Hi Janet, not sure what to think. I have always thought Billie was the catalyst and Shawn the perp, but really never thought a mom would do anything to their child. I am behind though so really don't know what to think.

You and I were on the same page.

I speculated when I first read about two arrests ... Shawn for the happenings encompassing the disappearance of Hailey and ... Billie for obstructing the investigation by not revealing what she knew.

However ... considering Billie was arrested and not Shawn ... I am through speculating.

Did I hear a collective sigh of relief from the forum?

Janet maybe Shawn through Billie under the bus. JMO, but I truly think Billie like KC Anthony was jealous of her daughter and that could have been what triggered Billie to do something to Hailey.

Friend from W Tx called Mitchell and they said they cannot release ANY info. She also asked if they have a website like in Dallas that shows all the info on inmates and the lady said "no they aren't that sophisticated".

I could say so much about that quote, but I guess I will let it pass for now.

Jail Records: Hailey's Mother Behind Bars in Mitchell County

Authorities remain tight lipped and have not been able to confirm the charges behind Billie Dunn's arrest.

Calls to the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office have not been answered.

Thursday, 7:10 p.m.
KTAB's Priscilla Luong was told by Pete Kampfer that Billie Dunn was escorted from her home by the Mitchell County District Attorney's office and taken to the sheriff's office Thursday.

Kampfer wasn't sure if she was going to be arrested or simply taken in for questioning.

Calls to Billie Dunn's phone were not answered.

Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
According to online jail records, Billie J. Dunn, 33, is behind bars in Mitchell County.

Bigcountryhomepage.com does not have independent confirmation from Colorado City Police or the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office.

No charges are listed on the online records.

We have crews en route to Colorado City and will continue to keep you updated.

Rumors are flying on the internet that the mother of missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn was arrested Thursday evening along with her boyfriend.
