All the current activity is at the grandmother's house now.  FB has pictures of it, two people are there and reporting what is being taken and the load of police that are there.  Kampderp says that SA was "picked up" but I don't have my decoder ring on for redneck right now, so I don't know if he's arrested or not.  Some people who seem to have an inside line are confirming that he is indeed in custody.  He's not listed on vinelink yet, or I suck at it - the latter being entirely possible.

Incidentally, things are bad when *I* make redneck jokes, as I drive a one-ton Chevy, wear books, only don't have a redneck because I have big Texas hair that covers it, and some of my best friends are chickens and horses.  Just some levity because I'm on pins and needles.

I take that back: UPDATED 8:30 P.M. Billie Jean Dunn and Shawn Adkins have apparently been “picked up” by officials from the Mitchell County Sheriff’s Department, according to Pete Kampfer, Colorado City city manager .

Billie is in custody....she lied
Shawn had a warrant out on him, waiting confirmation that he was arrested
His grandmother's is surrounded & things have been taken out of the home as evidence (details unknown)

Charges will be announced tomorrow

Thursday, 8:25 p.m.
The Michell County District Attorney's office tells KTAB's Michelle Ashworth they went to Billie Dunn's house to serve a warrant out of Howard County to Shawn Adkins.
According to the D.A.'s office, Billie lied and said he wasn't there. She was taken to Mitchell County Jail.

Howard County is where Big Spring is -- where Shawn's grandmother and the computer were located.  The charges must be related to something that happened in that county rather than Mitchell County where CCity is located.  Sounds like the porn more than the missing of Hailey to me.

Shawn's mother lives in Big Spring.

I think his grandmother lives in Dunn.  The home Shawn claimed ... as an afterthought ... that he stopped at on the morning of December 27th following his departure from work prior to driving to Big spring.

We're told the drugs in question were prescription drugs without a proper prescription.

Howard County went to the home in an attempt to serve a search warrant of Shawn Adkins' body.

Scurry County is in the process of serving a search warrant for Adkins' grandmother's home in Dunn

As the tennis ball goes back into the other court... personal confirmations that SA is in custody, no confirmations that he is arrested however, but they are serving a warrant at his gm's house, and obviously searching for evidence of the physical sort.
