Hiya Monkeys

Isn't it rather funny that Comenencia seemed to fall off the radar about the time that van der Straaten did??

HI Yapperz!
Yes, that is rather odd.

Hi Art, I am great! Good to see you here too! , sorry for the delay was googling Comenencia , didn't find much yet, but we will!

Glad to hear you are great!!!

I've been flittin in and out..reading about Anna Nicole..doing jigsaw puzzles, watching for wild animals and knitting! Laughing
I enjoy crocheting in the winter, I make two or three nice warm blankets every winter. I am a bit reluctant to admit that here in case ol "roger" that used to have scrux is reading here. He saw us monkeys as a knitting circle. !! LMAO!! Laughing

I love crocheted blankies!!!!  I don't crochet as well as I knit for some reason.
Ah, so what what Roger thinks!!!!!

We all might be dancing something like that, Kat,  if we have the 7 course Irish dinner like our Cat.

I have heard of a box full of monkeys but a ship full of monkeys sounds even more fun.  Who needs an iron?  Sounds like it is turning out to be a round the world voyage.

The posting by carpe on the F/P and brought into here by msmarple makes very interesting reading.  Comemencia is someone I have read very little about - seems to have kept a very low profile.  Looks like we need to start reading Shango again with this character in mind for Dirty Hand.  Where is Lala's ?

i found it interestng as well ..ty mS  MARPLE......

in the beginning DAG aruba radio was kinda saying "papito"  an awful lot...like there is a song the DJ kept playing.,....pappppi...pappito....something....in the very beginning...

New Criminal Code for the Netherlands Antilles
The Criminal Code of the Netherlands Antilles is in urgent need of modernisation, and a revised edition is now being prepared. On Thursday 5 October 2006, an expert meeting will be held at Erasmus University Rotterdam to discuss progress. It will include the first public presentation of a proposal for the general section of the new Criminal Code (book 1).

The project to review the Criminal Code of the Netherlands Antilles was launched three years ago. The existing code was urgently in need of modernisation since both it and the associated country regulations and decrees were extremely outdated.
On 18 January 2003, the Committees for the review of the Criminal Code of the Netherlands Antilles officially began their work under the chairmanship of L.A.J. de Lannoy (for the Netherlands Antilles) and Mrs Croes-Fernandes (for Aruba). The chairmanship of the Committee for Aruba has since been taken over by N. Jörg.
Both Committees are assisted by a Secretariat headed by Professor H. de Doelder, which has drawn up the basic text proposals.
During the past three years, the Committees have modified criminal sentences and reviewed the sentences handed down for various crimes. New treaty commitments (partly in response to the fight against terrorism) have made it necessary to codify new laws. Finally, the growing complexity of crime and the need to combat terrorism has made closer cooperation between the different parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands more vital. This can be encouraged through the coordination of their respective laws and regulations.
The specialists attending the meeting will discuss and elucidate the changes that have been made to the new Criminal Code. The programme will be chaired by Professor de Doelder and presentations will be given by Professor D.H. de Jong, Professor P.A.M. Mevis and Professor J.W. Fokkens. The Ministers Plenipotentiary of the Netherlands Antilles, Mr P. Comenencia, and of Aruba, Mr W.F. Croes, will be present. The Netherlands Minister for Kingdom Relations, Mr A. Nicolaï, has also been invited to attend.

Note for Editors:
Expert meeting to discuss the new Criminal Code of the Netherlands Antilles, Thursday 5 October 2006, 11.00 hours
Place: Erasmus University Rotterdam, Woudestein building, Riviumzaal
If you would like to attend the meeting, please contact the FRG press and public relations office, Annemart Berendse, tel. 010 408 9766

In the beginning of this case, this guy was called the "police spokesperson"... I would love to know what happened to him, and where he is now. This isn't nice, but maybe he died?
