That's just the thing...no one really knows for sure...we only have what we have and sometimes it is really confusing.  You have to pick your identities of each character and see what fits.  You would never believe how many interpretations I have seen of both Shango and Simian.

Hey look I found the prelude to Joran's book:

My name is Joran and I am just the greatest guy you will ever meet. My Daddy is a Bigshot as well. I have to carry a baseball bat with me everywhere I go, to keep all the screaming girls who want me away. That is how popular I really am. I am a good boy, except when I get mad. But, even then, all I do is hit and Kick. Some people think that Daddy protects me, and he does but so what. Would you not want your Daddy to help you? My Mommy is nice too. She likes see through blouses, but so what. She is my Mommy poo, and she too sticks up for me. The Holloway-Twitty family are very bad people. They tell lots of lies about me and that is not very nice. Beth is a mean lady, just because she can't find her daughter. What does she want me to do about that? She is mean to Aruba and me and I do not like her. Deepak and Satish are liars. Everyone knows that my 22 versions of the story are the correct ones. Concerned: No, I guess he is head of some local official corps. He is the guy that knows everything and that has been in the house of Babylonians NOT seeking pleasure for himself, so Shango says. So maybe he went to search for Natalee and he is the chief of Polis.

Someone asked about Joran being the lamb.  Shango says as much in this post.  So if Joran was the intended sacrifice to appease the cowboys, why didn't it happen?  Because the person that is Dirty Hand did not let it happen.  Shango affirms the fact that  Babalu has identified Dirty Hand as the chief of polis and the poster named Concerned tells us what was said.  You have to see the entire Shango posts along with the comments from those that were on the FP at the same time to understand this.

I don't have the posts in front of me, so my thoughts are from memory:

The post that I liked was at the beginning when Shango is talking about finding out who took Natalee to the party and who picked her up.  Shango says that it was at that point that the lamb became the scape goat.  Which to me means that there is so much fear, on the part of the lamb, that he is willing to take the rap, if necessary and become the scape goat to protect dirty hand and the men at the casino, the ones that "know"....

Personally, I think there are alot of dirty hands, but the dirtiest would be Posner.  I think that it is he that has the roots in organized crime and that probably runs most of the sex-slave operations, or atleast has a hand in it.

But the name that popped into my mind when I first read Shango's posts
was Lorenzo.   Guido is evil, no doubt about that, so he could be dirty hand as well... making reference to the fact that he deals cards and plays with a dirty hand, a stacked deck, etc.

Please, tell us... who do you think is the real Dirty Hand?

All I have to go on is that Shango affirms that Dirty Hand is van der Straaten.  I wish I could say I was 100% certain of this, but I am not.  Tylergal thinks it is Rudy Croes.  When asked, she always could back up her reasoning with facts about Croes.    Eleye and Colombo didn't agree with either of us, but I haven't been able to ask them since some other things have since come to light about what they think now. Jossy indicated that he trusted van der Straaten and felt that he was trying to help the family and things were taken out of his hands ( not his exact words, just what I remember from and interview with Dana). Now, I understand that Carpe thinks otherwise and is leaning toward Edwin C.  So at this very moment in time...I have no idea who Dirty Hand could be.  Sorry.
