http://www.thehinkymeter.com/2011/02/08/will-duct-tape-be-caseys-sticking-point-95-shurity/

So, let’s review where we’re at with the duct tape found on Caylee’s skull:

    * adhesive – matched George’s gas can tape
    * fill yarn – matched Shurtape PC-621HPT
    * the film backing – matched Shurtape PC-621HPT
    * cloth – “closely matches” except for the cotton being decomposed away – for both George’s gas can tape and PC-621HPT
    * Henkel Branded duct tape still in Anthony possession during early days of search – check
    * George working for OUC either at the material warehouse proper or at the same OUC location – check
    * OUC buying Shurtape duct tape and having it in their central material warehouse inventory during the time George was security guard for OUC – check
    * Shurtape 95% confident it is their PC-621HPT product – check
    * Casey in a sticky wicket – check

Awesome article!

  Good Morning Monkeys!

Some great posts from last night, and a lot of love shown to Caylee.    an angelic monkey

When I was at the hearings and spent time with Amil from WS, she said Mason is well known for taking the cases no one else will touch. He takes on the losing cases, it's his thing. I guess as long as he gets paid, he doesn't care what the outcome is for his client.  So why is he on Casey's case?  No pay, his name being dragged through the mud.......I don't get it.

I think Friday's doc dump will have depositions but I'm hoping for some scientific info.

One day closer to Justice for Caylee!

Our sweet girl.

Casey - any one of us would have taken her and raised her.

So true, in a heartbeat!

I keep saying the same thing.  Now that I have heard LE say that Casey said her Mom was trying to get Caylee from her, I now think I know what her thinking was, if I don't want her, my Mom would be next in line to get her.  She was not thinking about all the people who would raise Caylee, she wanted to take Caylee away from Cindy.  She did not want Cindy to have Caylee and that is why she killed her.  She was afraid that Cindy would get Caylee and she hated Cindy so much, she did not want Cindy to have the one person in Cindy's life, that made her life worth living.

Yep..As Mrs Pleasa , Casey Grandma, said:  I think Casey hated Cindy more then she loved Caylee.

Hope they put her on the stand so she can express her dealings with Casey, Cindy and our little angel Caylee.

I have served on a jury and everybody in the courtroom was dressed appropriately.  To me it's just a matter of respect for the court as well as self-respect.   In fact I was in Chancery Court myself a couple of weeks ago to be appointed as conservator for my sister-in-law who has Alzheimer's.  Everyone was dressed appropriately there, too.  Of course it was rather cold.  Maybe in hotter climates people dress more informally.

I don't think jeans are cooler (temperature-wise) than dress pants.

Just sayin'.

Could be.  I don't wear jeans.  Don't even own a pair.

Thanks to loca and Titch for bringing up the Hal Boedeker blog:
http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2011/03/casey-anthony-what-were-biggest-surprises-at-hearings.html

This is slightly OT but related; I noticed that ex-Orange County Commissioner Mildred Fernandez' public corruption trial will also take place in the courthouse in May. Her nam sunded familiar so I looked it up. IMO, she seemed to sympathize with the Atrocious Anthononys. Here's what I found:

::snipping::Orange County Commissioner Mildred Fernandez said she will request
that a deputy be assigned to the Anthony home on weekends as
protesters continue to demonstrate.
Several fights, scuffles and arguments have broken out at the home --
mostly on the weekends -- prompting numerous 911 calls to the home.
Fernandez said the request would be made as a last resort if a lawsuit
filed by the neighborhood's homeowners association fails. ::snipping2::
http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Sci/sci.med.psychobiology/2008-09/msg00111.html

::snipping::Commissioner Mildred Fernandez wanted the county to pay for off-duty officers to help keep the peace in the neighborhood. Fernandez wanted them to would work from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.  ::snipping2::
http://forum.baby-gaga.com/about338179.html

::snipping::Several commissioners raised their doubts about paying fees for Kronk. "This is not corporate America. This is taxpayers' money," Mildred Fernandez told WESH. ::snipping2::

Whoa..That's really strange that Bozo doesn't visit and sends Michelle. I wonder what's up with that?
Why aren't we getting her commissary reports anymore? Has she stopped ordering?

I wonder WHY Casey hates Cindy so much. That must be DEEP hatred for her to kill ... I think Casey resented Caylee. I wonder if she ever bonded with her. How could she carry her for 9 months, give birth to her, and care for her then be so detached 2 years later that she murdered her? And drove around with her corpse in her trunk. And dumped her like trash. I guess I will never understand.

She is such a sweetheart with a pure heart.  I would imagine she would warm even the coldest heart.  I am wrong, she could not warm her mother's heart.  Why?

I watch her in court and she does not seem to care that her daughter is missing.  Say she didn't kill her child, she doesn't even appear to miss her.  She is the picture of health, she is thriving.  At least her parents look like they are falling apart.  I would be inconsolable.  How can you hate that much?  She does not feel love, only hate?  How does that happen?

Bearly -- well said ... I wonder too how much of Casey's evil is nature vs. nurture. Did something horrible happen to her at the hands of her parents? I'm sure it would not be ideal to be raised by GA and CA given what we know ... but is there more to it than just bad parenting? I guess I'm just trying to make sense out of something that will never make sense. Senseless killing of Caylee.

I think in Fl. the atmosphere is more laid back.
I personally don't see anything disrespectful with wearing jeans to court, as long as they're not ripped, you wear nice shoes, shirt, blouse, jacket, and are well groomed, etc.
When one of the drs. I worked for was on trial, we all sat in the courtroom in scrubs.

It's funny how people see things differently.
Although I agree that she had nothing to offer (as she had no real opinions), I thought she was a nutjob (not a sweet old lady.)
