I was reading comments over at the Cayleedaily.....someone asked a good question.....why does Casey have any money in her account when she owes money from her check fraud case?   Yeah, how come?  Why is this not deducted from her account once her daily subsistence fee is taken?  Will she ever have to pay for that case?

In his two-volume transcript, Allen told the attorneys Jose Baez and J. Cheney Mason that detectives had a number of conversations with Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy Anthony, "that were kind of out there."

Allen said Cindy Anthony misled investigators, wasn't always cooperative and that she hasn't always been forthright.

One of the defense attorneys asked Allen if Cindy Anthony has always been truthful with him.

"I don't believe so, no," Allen said.

At one point during the deposition, there was issue over an "interview" verses "interrogation."

Allen said he "interviewed" Casey Anthony, not interrogated her.

"The mere fact that she hadn't been truthful with us didn't turn it into an interrogation," Allen said.

After more back and forth, Allen said, "I've never -- honest to God, Mr. Mason, I've never water boarded anybody. I've never tortured anybody."

Allen and Baez disagreed on if they had arranged a specific meeting with Casey Anthony.

Allen said he didn't remember there being anything concrete set.

"It seemed like a lot of times when I had conversations with you, you just simply would put me off or tell me something that turned out to be nonsense," Allen told Baez.

And what is the point to this?   She was already arrested & put in jail at this point, she sure as heck had to have had her Miranda rights given to her for the lying to LE and child neglect charges. 

If anything it only proves that at the appropriate time she was given her Miranda rights.   The issue is statements she made as a witness regarding a missing child and prior to her arrest.

What you are seeing, is local MSM have realized they are not attracting the level of readership they will need to beat out their competition come trial time.

Additionally, as these documents are released, they cost $1 a page, so over $2000 from the other day alone.

There is no fact checking, and certainly no research, why would one even reference a visit not shown for the motion?

Advertisers ( more than David Maus) are ad shopping, and they need to keep their hits high right now.

Kronk details problems with ex-wives

Elsewhere in his deposition, Kronk was asked about his first marriage to a woman named Crystal. He said they were together nine years before it ended.

Asked if there was domestic violence, Kronk said there was "towards the end...she attacked me...with her nails."

He said she met another man while working on the Exxon Valdes oil spill.

Kronk was then living in Hawaii. The couple then moved to Maryland, and Kronk said, "She was actually allowing the guy to stay in the house. And I asked that he leave and she got very angry with me."

Kronk and his wife had a bitter divorce. He was estranged from his son and he said she told him thing to discredit him as a father.

But after Kronk discovered Caylee's remains, he said his ex-wife called him.

"I think she had some designs on making money," he said.

Later, Kronk said his lawyer received a call that one of his ex-wives was trying to contact Random House "to write a tell all book about me."

Asked which wife, Kronk said, "I believe it was Crystal because I know that Crystal has been working with Leonard Padilla to discredit me. He even mentioned her name on Nancy Grace. This woman has absolutely no love for me whatsoever."

Kronk said he has two ex-wives.

You know I have wondered that myself before..as well as if she has money in her account why isn't that withdrawn to help with the cost of her defense?

I think criminals in jail now a days have it too easy..they get free medical, eye and dental, three squares a day, clean clothing to wear, shoes on their feet, and can have spending money for little extras from family and friends.  Something isn't right with this picture ..I say if the worst of our citizens get treated like that then maybe the government needs to look into offering that to all our citzens.  Sorry about the rant but this just really is a pet peeve of mine..that this woman who never held a job in the last year of her daughters life, murdered her daughter gets better taken care of by the government now then most honest hard working folks do.

Not only is Casey Anthony's trial expected to be one of the biggest in Orange County, it's looking like it'll be one of the most expensive as well.

News 13 is reviewing an expense report put out by court officials.

I have said at least to myself, that because of budgets in states, or should I say lack of budgets in states that the state of Florida is going to have a very difficult time with the cost of this trial, and have felt a deal will be made. Probably wrong about that.

I remember at the last hearing, Judge Perry stated that he was going to Tallahassee the next week to work on getting money. He said it wasn't a pleasant task, but it was a necessary one, or something to that effect.

I wonder if it had anything to do with this case or just the Ninth Judicial court in general.

I don't know Brandi, but my thoughts are there probably are pressures on the State to maybe work out a deal, guess we will all wait and see what happens.

The State would probably be willing to make a deal with Baez to plead her out..but doesn't Baez have to ask the State to consider a plea deal, them enter a plea and the State can either accept or reject?

But to me..it will be the 11th hour before Baez could make Casey understand and cooperate with a plea.  The woman has no reason in her mind at this point she believes the State and their witnesses are stupid, she has a dream team and she is going to waltz out of there on Masons arm....

Gypsy~ I agree with you about the 11th hr plea IF it happens but I don't know if I think it's kc or Baez that will be the one not wanting to do it. On one hand I believe that any unreal expectations she may have are most like due to very unreal probable outcomes proposed by Baez but on the other hand, she has such extreme narcissism that she probably believes that she will prevail and the same lies that she repeated even after being proven to be untrue, will get her out of this.
The third thing that plays in this is the celeb factor. This is the culmination of Baez' dream..the big trial, center stage, news trucks everywhere.....I don't think he'll give it up for anything. 

 

MIZJAY..Thank you for responding to my post..After rereading it I can see where it gives the impression I think Baez will plea her out.  I don't think that they will..because Baez and Mason aren't going let  go of this dog and pony show of the media frenzy and celebrity status..and Casey..there isn't a chance in h%ll she believes that she isn't going to win..if not now then on appeal.  She is very delusional..and both Baez and Morgan have fed that side of her.
