About the child porn and stuff.. to have that much on one computer indicates a js exploit virus and any law enforcement with computer knowlege knows this. It's impossible for one person to download that much because it... would take years.

What this person is alleging is that a virus took over the computer and downloaded all of these images without anyone's knowledge.  If I had 109,000 images of anything on my computer, I think I would become aware of it, especially if my computer was infected by a virus.

As far as it being impossible to download that many images, a GA man earlier this year was convicted of downloading over 200,000 such images.

I have seen a virus hit a computer but never to my knowledge has it downloaded images that were reported on the computer at Shawn's moms. Is that even possible?

Remember the porn was also found on a thumb drive and also a DVD..you have to plug them into the computer...and the virus would not have attached itself to every electronic device the man owns, his mother and his grnmother owns.

Nor did the virus then push the DVD and thumb drive from the computer, skip across town and hide them in Billie's bedroom.

But knowing Billie this is what we are gonna hear next....

Ok, Know that I speak only for myself and that this is just my opinion and should involve no one but myself. I believe that Shawn raped and killed Hailey in the middle of the night and then told Billie what had happened, that's when they co...ncocted their story. I think he dismembered her the next morning in the 2 hours he had in ccity and then took her to a hidden location to dispose of her. I don't think we'll find her. I am writing this, barely able to see through my tears as I hate the thoughts I have about what has happened to this precious neice of mine. Fred I'm so sorry! I personally think that for pedophiles, child pornographers, beast lovers and the like, that prison is too good for them. I believe that they should all be placed into a room together in groups of 20 and given a single dull knife and then told when there is only one, we'll feed you. Do that each day till they're all gone. Then maybe the next "Hailey" will get to have her life and love and children of her own.

SNYDER, Texas -- Search warrant affidavits acquired by KTXS through the Freedom of Information Act show the warrant used by law enforcement in Scurry County Thursday night was used to look for more child pornography.

According to the warrant affidavit, law enforcement believes that Shawn Adkins, the only named suspect in the disappearance of 13 year old Hailey Dunn of Colorado City, is in possession of child pornography, namely, visual material like photographs and video footage.

Thank you for the radio link.    It is interesting to listen to the locals.   I believe  one of the local supporters of Billie Dunn - Cat - is a photographer for this radio station.    Since I read this and saw her on FB,  I can't confirm.    Plus, the FB page I was reading, Cat was removed/banned as a member for breaking a rule.

Anyway, did you all notice that Billie Jean has new highlights in her hair?  Wonder when she did that?

I agree with Capp that Billie is not smart making the choice of denying having a lawyer represent her.  Even though I believe she is guilty, along with Shawn, in the disappearance of Hailey Dunn, everyone should be represented by an attorney in court.   At the very least to help them navigate and understand what is occurring.

I believe this is a small beginning to everything falling out.   I hope that Big Country will start being objective in their reporting and stop protecting or softening the facts surrounding Billie Jean.  They are not asking any difficult questions and they had plenty of opportunity with her.   JMOO

I have denoted several times that some of the local articles are not only minimizing the facts of this case but also printing quite a few inaccuracies consistently.   PK appearing to be more the "official spin doctor" rather than deferring to the LE departments he has NO say or jurisdiction in.   He is the Colorado City City Manager, which means he deals with the budget & supervises CC's local fire, police, emergency depts -- he has no authority over any other LE branch such as Texas Rangers, FBI or DA's office.    IF PK cant even report that a person was indeed arrested versus spinning it to  "led in for questioning" when facts indicate otherwise, Id venture to say that nothing he says can be relied upon on and/or taken as fact.   PK didnt do himself or Colorado City any favors by appearing as a tool!

At this point, when PK throws some "thing" at the wall and it sticks, it's largely accident, and even then he is so vague with his wording he misrepresents things.  Like last night, people were asking if SA was arrested and he said he was "picked up" which anyone is going to take as yes - arrested.  As I said last night, I didn't have my redneck decoder ring on, so it's nearly impossible to see what his vagueries mean at any given time.

The affidavits confirmed that pornography has been found on a second computer that Adkins used – and on his personal cell phone.

The warrant also mentions that 2 Kodak Easy Share cameras were in the home, and that pornographic images found on Adkins' phone were taken on a Kodak Easy Share camera. Investigators planned to seize the two cameras looking for more evidence.

The warrant, issued by the district judge in Scurry County, gave law enforcement the right to take cameras, cell phones, computers, printers, and other devices which may contain child pornography.

That is one of the top three excuses that people caught with child porn on their computer use.  The amount that he had, not possible.  Not without accessing one at least, imo.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm sure that's what they'll try to find out.  I posted the Texas statutes differentiating between possession and intent to move porn on the last set of threads, and that was my thinking.  We need to know the definitions between the two, and what constitutes "across state lines" to keep up with this case, because I'm sure it's going to come up; it has to.

UPDATE 3:10 p.m.: Billie Jean Dunn admitted this afternoon to lying to police about the whereabouts of her former live-in boyfriend, Shawn Adkins.

After her release from the Mitchell County Jail, Dunn briefly addressed the media outside her home in Colorado City this afternoon.

“He (Adkins) had come over here on his own and I had called his mother to come get him,” Dunn said.

Dunn was asked if she was lying about not knowing what happened to her daughter, Hailey Dunn, who was last seen Dec. 27.

“I am not lying," Dunn said. "Clint (Hailey's father) and I are doing everything we can to look for her (Hailey).”

Dunn's mother posted her bond, allowing her to be released from jail after getting charged with three misdemeanors Thursday evening.
