UPDATE 3:10 p.m.: Billie Jean Dunn admitted this afternoon to lying to police about the whereabouts of her former live-in boyfriend, Shawn Adkins.

After her release from the Mitchell County Jail, Dunn briefly addressed the media outside her home in Colorado City this afternoon.

“He (Adkins) had come over here on his own and I had called his mother to come get him,” Dunn said.    LIE

Dunn was asked if she was lying about not knowing what happened to her daughter, Hailey Dunn, who was last seen Dec. 27.

“I am not lying," Dunn said. "Clint (Hailey's father) and I are doing everything we can to look for her (Hailey).”  LIE

Dunn's mother posted her bond, allowing her to be released from jail after getting charged with three misdemeanors Thursday evening.

Friday, 3 p.m. Update:
In a statement to Bigcountryhomepage.com's Andrew Carlson, Billie admitted lying to police about the whereabouts of Shawn Adkins. She didn't want to explain why.  She said Shawn was at her house because he wanted to talk to her about something, but she didn't specify what.

The drug charge against her is bogus, she said, because while her name wasn't on the label, it was her own prescription.

I am sure that would have delighted Billie.

IF it is determined that Shawn was a participant in the downloading of the 108,000 images that investigators recovered on the computer found at the home of HIS mother ... at this point in time ... I am willing to give Billie the benefit of the doubt that she was unaware of any child porn.

If the child porn images are determined by investigators to be connected to Shawn ... I am inclined to believe that Billie will "thrown her boyfriend under the bus" in regards to what she knows that pertains to the disappearing of her daughter.

SNYDER, Texas -- According to law enforcement authorities, more pornography – including child pornography – has been found on devices used by Shawn Adkins, the only named suspect in the disappearance of Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn.

According to search warrant affidavits acquired Friday by KTXS through the Freedom of Information Act, a warrant used by law enforcement in Scurry County on Thursday was specifically intended to look for more child pornography on computers, discs and other digital devices Adkins has been using.

The affidavits stated that pornography has been found on a second computer that Adkins used – and on his personal cell phone.

The files containing the pornography had been deleted but were recovered by law enforcement experts in computer and digital forensics.

According to the affidavit, law enforcement believes that Adkins was in possession of child pornography, namely visual material like photographs and video footage.

their puter,well they could be telling the truth,i hide and encrypt some folders
files on my puter, not that many people use my puter,but just in case,id rather
they didnt find,my links and files to my finances,ect,here is a link to make the
file invisible,i use a diff method,that i think is better, the one in the link
doesnt involve any software download,so the not so savvy owner wouldnt know there
