Monday, 2:15 p.m. Update:
According to the Snyder Daily News, an entry on the blotter at the Scurry County Law Enforcement Center Sunday afternoon stated a woman called and asked to speak to an officer on the telephone in reference to both Dunn and Adkins being together at the caller’s residence looking for someone.
The officer responding stated there was not a vehicle at the location and no contact was made.

Monday, 2 p.m. Update:
Billie Dunn tells KRBC's Jessica Reyes she has hired an attorney and is no longer able to speak with the media.

Dunn was scheduled to do an interview with Reyes at 3 p.m Monday and canceled.

Look for report from Bigcountryhomepage  KTAB later tonight - locals reporting that BD's attorney spoke out including mention Hailey & we shouldnt be judging others.  The fact he said that indicates to me that this is more than hiring attorney for misdemeanor charges...way more.

I did not realize Richy Cooper's comment on Facebook had been removed.

Richy may have thought better of posting his heartfelt sentiments ... heartfelt sentiments that conform to a great extent with those expressed by his MIL and wife in their BTHN interview.
I don't do Facebook.  Could it be that many of the original Facebook comments copied and pasted to the SM form and then quoted have been removed by authors.
Nevertheless ... Richy Cooper's March 23rd BTHN interview will reveal whether or not his position in his Facebook comment regarding his theory encompassing the disappearance of his niece has changed.

I suppose people can take their statements back off of facebook, though I don't see that happening very often.  In his case, my understanding is that his "wall" (where all his statements go) is supposed to be set to private, only people that he invites as friends are able to see it.  He put it up there for his "friends" and family to see, it was supposed to stay there, but one of the "friends" took it and started posting it around.  So he took it off - I guess to minimize its exposure. 

I can understand, certainly.  I sure wouldn't want the liability of that sort of accusation, or want to have to worry about retaliation.  Scary stuff!

I mean - you know, it was up there, and that's the deal with facebook:  dont' type it if you can't risk it going public.  Even if you're set to "private".  Once it's in type, people can screenshot and there ya' go.  Still because of his absolutely candid statement, and how painful it is, I just don't repeat it - no matter how badly I'd like to because I really believe not only that he is really missing Hailey, but I also can buy his theory.

Just a few days after the mother of Hailey Dunn claimed to have cut off ties with her former boyfriend and the only named suspect in her daughter's disappearance, law enforcement says the pair met in Scurry County over the weekend.
Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs says his investigators have learned Billie Dunn and Shawn Adkins met up in Snyder on Saturday evening.

On Friday, Dunn revealed she filed a protective order that would keep Adkins off her property. Toombs confirmed the filing took place but says this hasn't kept the pair from meeting elsewhere.

In response to Sheriff Toombs comments, Billie Dunn told KRBC's Jessica Reyes the accusations were not true. She says she and Adkins haven't seen each other since her arrest on Thursday.


MY NOTE:    It is not considered a protective order if it only prevents someone from being on a property...that is indeed a No Trespassing Order.

We knew she lied about a lie....who is she kidding!    If she was seen due to surveillance she would be best just to admit she got snagged   IMHO it wont be long now

Well, even when she was talking, she was lying about most of it.
So, it doesn't make a difference if she speaks to LE at all. It's too bad that she isn't going to speak to LE about Hailey. IMO, she either held back facts or lied about the whole darn " story " of Dec 26 to Dec 28.

She doesn't need help finding her daughter.  She knows where she is, and if she doesn't, all she has to do is ask Shawn.

She shouldn't have anything to worry about in talking to LE if she is innocent and she wants to help find her daughter.

I would agree.  I think if she were just going to handle the misdemeanor charges, since she has no job, she would have accepted an appointed attorney.  She has listened to Toombes stating that he would like to see an arrest soon, and she knows the LE isn't into games.  It's only a matter of time now.

I don't get it...why call police that Shawn and Billie are together? He is not supposed to go to her house but nothing says they can't be together away from the house. The person felt threatened or what? They came by looking for someone, so what? Is there a law against that? I am not defending anyone, but there must be more to that story.
