The Truth about Hailey
Truth: the admins of this page are not accusing any one person or persons of guilt. As you will see, each of our posts pertains to a specific element of the case, a question posed for locals to clarify (such as driving distances, etc.), and to generate discussions regarding inconsistent statements (continued below)...
While we have been fortunate enough to spend time reviewing this information with Clint, we have been unable to review it with Billie. The invitation has been extended, and we have not yet received a response. That does not indicate guilt o...r innocence; it only indicates that Billie has not yet seen our research. Both parents are welcome to respond in any manner on this page to clear up any public misconceptions. Family members and friends who have first-hand accounts that will get us closer to locating Hailey are absolutely welcome. I feel it is important this is said, as opinions have been formed by many regarding this case. Guilt or innocence may only be determined by a jury or magistrate.



The Truth about Hailey
Truth: this afternoon, Billie indicated privately to someone in the family that Hailey may still be alive. Taking emotion out of this info, it is critical we consider how and why Billie would indicate this, on the same day she releases to media that she is beginning to lose hope. Due to the nature of this investigation, we cannot release any specific details of that conversation.

Thanks TexasMom...listening now.  Finally!!!!  A real, live Man who seems to have common sense, seems to live a decent life, has been married for a long time. Thank goodness for Richy!  He shows more emotion than Billie Dunn has ever!

I had to pause the show a few times to do other things so I've just finished listening.  Richy does seem very sincere, and genuinely concerned about Hailey and those that love her.  I enjoyed listening to him.  I liked his comment about the train coming too!

I knew Billie had painted the living room but I didn't know she was changing Hailey's room around too.  Now I'm wondering exactly what she's done to it.  Richy wasn't specific but IIRC he said something to the effect of it not being something a girl her age would particularly like?

That's just not right! 

I've never heard of a mother of a missing child doing that!
 

I noticed that someone posted at the WOTS FB page that must be a friend of BD's.  She asked BD about the redecorating of Hailey's room.  Her post:

LE would not have had ANY need to break any of Hailey's belongings in ANY search regarding her disappearance NONE.    It only proves that Billie & members of her supporters were listening last night

She didnt redecorate before she went on NG or local media when she was sitting on the bed in her room, no she did it recently.

The story is very sketching.   Local LE stated there is no custody issue.    Just so happens this mother is a "friend" of one of the searchers in the Hailey Dunn case.   Looking into it.

but since there's no custody agreement, the father hasn't done anything illegal.

Hence, no Amber Alert.  Parents should be more aware of what precarious position they are in by not going through the legal procedures of a divorce and/or custody agreement.

The letter said that investigators were focusing more on Adkins than on finding the missing 13-year-old.

Pete Kampfer, a spokesperson for the investigation, said this type of tactic is common among defense teams, and that investigators are going in the direction that the evidence leads.

"We certainly understand all kinds of frustrations in the case" he said.  "Shawn Adkins has been a person of interest in the case since the very beginning and is continuing to be that."

That really cracked me up for some reason. I can see someone opening the letter, pushing their glasses to their end of their nose as they read it.  "Hmmm mmm .... ok,  right... nope - not changing a thing".  And then filing it.

I would assume that Billie is not "scared" of Shawn anymore.  His threatening notepad  thoughts towards her are a non-issue.

Maybe Billie's new attorney should be informed of the facts prior to "speaking out".

Dunn bonded out and sometime after that, she filed a restraining order that prohibits Adkins from coming near Dunn's property. Something Young said officials strongly urged her to do.

But since that order was filed, there have been reports the couple were spotted together over the weekend. Young said he's aware of the rumors.

"They were seen together in Snyder," Young said.  "Well both of them have family in Snyder. They may have been in Snyder at the same time that doesn't necessarily follow that they were together."

According to the Snyder Daily News, an entry on the blotter at the Scurry County Law Enforcement Center Sunday afternoon stated a woman called and asked to speak to an officer on the telephone in reference to both Dunn and Adkins being together at the caller’s residence looking for someone.

When my son's went off to college, I went into mourning.
I closed the door of  their room and did NOT go in for weeks. I could not stand that they were not here.
I KNEW WHERE they were, and was saddened at their absence, but I never touched a thing in there nor entered the room. For me it was too painful.

HOW Billie can redecorate her MISSING daughter's room is beyond me. I KNEW where my son's were and and I felt a loss and they were, for me, directly tied to their rooms. Geez, they grew up in them !

Those boys are now 30 and 38, and I have not changed a thing in their rooms, but feel comfort now, when I enter them, knowing that a piece of them, IMO, will remain here forever. I am happy they r successful in their lives.

Billie must have known from day 1 that Hailey was NOT returning home.

Investigators aren't planning to do anything differently in the case of Hailey Dunn after the letter fired off by suspect Shawn Adkins' attorney on Wednesday.

The letter said that investigators were focusing more on Adkins than on finding the missing 13-year-old.

Pete Kampfer, a spokesperson for the investigation, said this type of tactic is common among defense teams, and that investigators are going in the direction that the evidence leads.
