Makes perfect sense to me.

So bozo could not get Kathi kiced from the court room, now he is trying to do the same to Yuri.  This man is a putz. 

If I read it correctly, the state (and the Orange County Sheriff) is trying to give Yuri a break, and not have to waste his time in the courtroom when he is not needed during the three-day Frye hearings.

I think it is a reasonable motion and I am willing to bet it is granted. I believe it should be.

The so-called Frye hearings are scheduled to last several days.

Orlando criminal defense attorney Richard Hornsby, who is not affiliated with the case, explained that Frye hearings are a chance for the judge to make sure that the evidence is accepted by the scientific community. If not, the evidence can be excluded.

One of them is prosecutor Ken Lewis. The defense claims he has evidence that could help Casey.

The other two are doctors the defense wants to testify about Casey's state of mind.

Prosecutors are now calling on two EquuSearch volunteers, whose testimony the defense had been counting on. The defense claimed the volunteers searched the scene where Caylee's body was found in late summer 2008 and "found nothing," but now they'll testify for the prosecution.

Me too about the mornings UGH, trial is gonna kill me....as my son who was an EMT early on as a teen used to tease mommie "Im just gonna get an IV from the hospital mom  & just hook you up with coffee" (single mom syndrome working 50-80 hours a week, plus activities = BFF being caffeine)   Should have bought stock in Dunkin Donuts.

My Frye hearing predictions 80 to 90% of State's evidence and expert testimony will be admitted...anyone else want to wager a percentage?

Judge Belvin Perry recently ruled that Dr. David Hall's testimony will be allowed. Hall examined plant material at the scene where Caylee Anthony's remains were found.

The defense team wants Hall's testimony looked at again.

Attorneys in the case against Casey Anthony are preparing for another round of major hearings starting Wednesday.

Lawyers on both sides of the case will argue over what scientific evidence will be allowed at her trial, which is scheduled to start in just six weeks.

The question up for debate: Is the evidence really accepted science, or just an experiment?
