Court is back in session

I think she was running late and jumped into her clothes and ran to the court house. She has what we call around here a "bed head."

Don't laugh, but there's something about Sims that reminds me of Cindy; Not in looks, but head density or something.

especially when she says "correct".

Our little Caylee had pretty hair.  One of those sweet Caylee hairs has something very important to say, and that little hair will be allowed to testify against her killer.  My prediction, despite all these shenanigans.

Very well said Desdemona!

YES! And everytime she says "I'll re-phrase it" before the judge rules, it just reminds me of something Cindy would do.

Does Simms even know what a Frye hearing is about?

(I lost cable Internet connection for a bit just now.)

While I was watching on TV during the first hour, they mentioned Jennifer Barringer (who represented Phil Specter) is also joining Casey's defense team.

Anyone else hear that?

I posted it earlier here........InSession just interviewed her.....NOT impressed at all!

As a "consultant" not a defense attorney...hmmm.    She also worked for the Innocence Project, wonder why she left.  Hiring any one from the Phil Specter case is going to give ammo to the State on cross.    Not impressed with her or her botox job

Capp, seems like Jennifer had some "legal" problems of her own. I posted links to a couple articles a few pages back. She smashed 2 bottles of perfume to her hubbies head during a domestic dispute. She fits right in with this duhfense team.

Yup...and the arguing. Oi. It's a fuzzy headed, and a bit smarter version of spindy.

Hi Tupelo... My opinion?  Our little Caylee had pretty hair.  One of those sweet Caylee hairs has something very important to say, and that little hair will be allowed to testify against her killer.  My prediction, despite all these shenanigans.
Hi Desi! I had a feeling you were up there.  I agree with you, on all points.  It's just gonna take some time with this hearing. lol

I was wondering if she had ever gone through one before, but it seems the obvious answer is, no.  Why can't this team stay on topic? They never do.

See that, I sensed an issue by instinct.   Judging by her botox and injected lips Id say the 2 bottles of perfume was the nearest thing to her vanity

Ill be sure to read back, tks Seeme!

They need to take a break and force her to read the definition of "Frye", "Compound Question" and Relevence".

Watching Judge Perry's expressions and listening to his questions and statements, it appears to be that he has already decided about this issue, and just letting the process happen, according to the rules.

Yes, the witness is unflappable.   The jury will not be intimidated nor aggravated with her.   However, "brillo pad" is boring, off point & annoying.
