A Fort Collins man arrested in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old Fort Collins girl in 1982 was tied to the scene by new DNA testing, according to newly released court records.

David Hehn, 47, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and second-degree kidnapping - crimes prosecutors believe he committed when he was 18.
Prosecutors say he beat and shot Gay Lynn Dixon, then 17, and dumped her body in Rist Canyon. The two were neighbors and attended a party the night she died, according to investigators.
