Klaas!

That is a Norwegian long ship. I know because I was married to a Norwegian American and he educated me on all things Scandinavian. I also saw a preserved long ship in Bergen, Norway. They don't use nails.

I heard rumors (rumours to Kat_Gram and Tibro) about this trip but the thread was a secret to me.  No worries about rats on board or other vermin.  Me and cousin Cat are on the job.

Ohhh , so the buckets are for those that get seasick?? Thanks for clarifying this Cat. Well SeaMonkeys don't get seasick, would be a wee bit emabarrassing if we did, wouldn't ya think?, SOo, that leaves me with an extra bucket..hmmm, looking on the aussie thread to see what other animal I can put this extra bucket to good use on smuggling out.

Cat, I don't get seasick, so I will fill my bucket with catnip.

Just hopes no one kicks it while we're sailing ...

I will lap the deck,if they do.We can harass aruba with our sail, like others used to do to the Irish, then put the fear of monkeys into the Dutch. The three hours hearing was for both parties to be able to consumate the wedding vows and wake up from the drugs.CAT   and we can scare Glenda

Please let me know when you will be passing the Port of Miami so I can hop on.

I don't get seasick either, Cat -- and I'm pretty good at trimming the sails, climbing the ropes and using the oars.

I'll help in the galley, too Wink

Hey Cat or should that be Capt'n Cat?
Are we taking this voyage as per history or will we have mod cons?
The old Viking Knarr's had nowhere to sleep or cook, and they leaked so they were always bailing out the seawater.  That was a  job for any children aboard, so I hope everyone brings their children.
Too many of those G&Ts and we will be sailing off the edge of the world. Laughing
