No, when it was mentioned here it was only about a name being left out, I did not think it would be interesting enough to attend.

The thing I wonder about at this point is; like I mentioned the person does not have a major role, the name is known, but this person was not at C&C or in the company of Joran, Deepak, Satish and Natalee that night.

I can understand people not wanting their names to be mentioned, Joran wants to tell his side of the story, but if someone wants his privacy protected that should not be a problem or affect Joran's story in any way.

So someone who is no keyplayer in any of this objecting to the book/the name mentioned is sort of strange, more so when you know that parties (the person and the publisher) were not able to reach an agreement about the name being left out.

So for the publisher the name being mentioned somehow seems important enough to not be able/willing to reach an agreement, go to Court and risk a delay which could for example not be weeks but even months. Due to this delay no pre-releases are printed in the "two month in advance" period which could affect a lot of free publicity, since there was a large request of pre-releases which is good news for the publisher because it sort of "guarantees" a lot of free publicity.

If if is Paulus Van der Sloot in the casino video recording who is seated at the black table conversing with Natalee Holloway, the implication is huge .... considering both Joran and Paulus claim in their official suspect statements that Paulus left the casino for home part way through the poker game ....  prior to Joran going to the black jack table where Joran encountered Natalee.

On Sunday, I do not remember the date any more, I went at approximately 16.00 hours, to the "Excelsior Casino" at the Holiday Inn Hotel to play "Texas Hold'm poker". (with this the suspect is talking about May 29th 2005). I went with my father named "Paul van der SLOOT" to the casino. I went to play "Texas Hold'm Poker" with my father. It is a poker game in which you get 7 cards and you have to make a card combination with your best (5) cards. You get 500 U.S. $ of fake money and with this money you play. I was done sooner than my father and I went and hung around in the casino. When it was half time of the game my father wanted to go home to go and babysit my ten year old brother. At my father's request I sat in for him and played "Texas Hold'm poker.  I am not sure as to when half time was but I think it was between 19.00 and 20.00 hours. I kept on gambling until I lost too. This was according to me until 21.30 to 22.00 hours. I went to walk around in the casino and after that went to the "Blackjack" table to play blackjack. While I was sitting at the table the girl "Natalee" that is missing now to the blackjack table together with her friends.

On May 29th 2005, at approximately 16.00 hours, I went with Joran to the “Free Carribean Stud Tournament” in the Holiday Inn. During the break, at approximately 18.30 hours, I went back home. My youngest son Sebastian who was playing at a friends house was due to be dropped off at home around that time. Joran, with my permission, took over my seat because he had been eliminated earlier.

How can the story be overblown when it has not been told yet? Hiding the details and telling people to drop the subject is a surefire way to peak interest and make people think the worst. Which has happened.

Also, an update on the DeVries B&E charges would be nice. Surely that was not a slanderous LIE to deflect attention away from the content of his show?
