Steve Cohen, special advisor to Aruba, came on the show hoping for a chance to talk to Beth about where the investigation stands today. Dr. Phil turns to Steve. "So, you're a paid consultant?" he asks.

"That's correct," Steve replies.

"And, who pays you?" Dr. Phil probes.

"I'm actually paid by the tourism industry, which is the Aruban Tourism Authority, and also a group called AHACA, which is an association of hotel owners on the island."

Where is Steve now? Probably down at C & C, watching his drink,   reminiscing over the good times with the likes of Arleen, Gerold, Rubberlegs, Tito, and all the other talking heads who fell from grace.

So if Paulus is in possession of Anita's cell phone that night where is Paulus' cell phone.  Why would Joran need to say specifically what cell phone Paulus had.  Because he didn't have Anita's cell phone he had his own.

I agree - Skeeters was a good man.


Something that has always always bothered me.  Where is the evidence? ALE et al says there is no evidence.  I say BS.  They have supposedly found no evidence?  Is there not even a hair from Deepak's car?  Doesn't that say something?  All these statements from the 3.  The Skeeters tapes.  This is evidence.  The phone calls are evidence.  The computer records are evidence.  WHAT DID VAN DER STRATEN SEE to prove to him that Natalee is no longer living?  I would bet it wasn't a piece of paper.

The lack of evidence is the evidence.  Evidence of a crime and a coverup.  Nothing of Natalee's found anywhere except in her hotel room.  Nothing on the beach.  Nothing in Joran's apartment.  No blood, no body fluids.  Nada.  Yet, she was with the 3 suspects who have lied repeatedly, have widely different stories, have different stories from other friends and the MB teens.  vdStraaten doesn't know how he can do this to his best friend's son but knows more about this case than we do and thinks Natalee's dead.  Evidence.  Phone and computer records don't match stories and computers were tampered with.  Evidence.  Judge visits Paulus and changes search warrant.  Evidence.   Did they check Automotive Enterprises for a matching back seat?  Witnesses:  Automotive enterprises and the gardener and the fishermen, Charles Croes, DEA agent, School Headmaster, men who saw Deepak's car at the Sloots before Twittys arrived, Racquet Club manager, Joran's overnight guest, Guido.  But they say there is no evidence.  Something was found in Joran's apartment.  If nothing was found in Deepak's car, you tear apart Auto Enterprises.  You search the Sloot house.  You get a warrant for Freddy's camera and computer.  You ask the FBI to check out John Charles Croes' computer--may have to be voluntary, but you ask.  You bring in the guys who allegedly saw Deepak's car.  You grill the Headmaster.  Then, with evidence of a coverup, you get Judges Smid and Witt off the case and get a warrant for the homes, offices and cars of vdStraaten and Jacobs.  I saw pictures of blood on a TLC true crime special.  It doesn't look like chocolate.  There's plenty of evidence.  But they say there's none.  That's the evidence.  If Joran didn't do it, why the botched investigation?  Why not be straight with the family and the media and clear him publicly?  Why keep him as a suspect?  Joran did it.  There is evidence.

When he claimed he called his dad on it, he was walking to Mc Donalds...

along the way, he claims to stop off in a hotel & pickup a Coke from a

vending machine. He then claims after not eating in quite awhile, he proceeds on to MC D's and sinks his teeth into a nutritious MC FLURRY. LOL

That is when he touches on the fact the his mom is out of the country and his dad has her cell phone & is using. ( I'm pretty sure, I read it.)
