Summary....

It wasn't worth shaving for. 

Jose wasn't in court.  He's at home practicing for tomorrow.

KC was wearing ugly purple turtleneck.

Mason forgot KC's coloring pad and notebook.

Judge Perry warns that if things aren't finished tomorrow, all parties can kiss their weekends good-bye.

Be back tomorrow morning at 9am.

Not to mention that it's in the high 80s here...a turtle neck? WTF?

I'm thinking that's Cindy's way of trying to cover KC's ugly up.

The planet Earth doesn't have enough fabric to cover up KC's ugly!!

Casey Anthony Attends Hearing On Witnesses

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony was in court for a hearing Thursday morning. The hearing was to discuss a defense motion regarding witnesses .

Rare for a Casey Anthony hearing, it was over in around 20 minutes.

"The good news is, for the most part, I'm advised the state doesn't have objections," defense attorney J. Cheney Mason told Judge Belvin Perry.

Cheney informed the judge that they have voluntarily removed Sharon Cadieux from the list, saying neither side has been able to get cooperation from her; Cadieux went to the Anthony's home in 2008 to protest and George Anthony, Casey's father, pushed her during an altercation.

I think mumbles said the DT couldn't get SC's cooperation regarding deposition.

Thursday, Mason did not address his accusations during or after court. Other than cutting off Judge Perry at the beginning of the hearing, Mason did not address in any way his accusations that Judge Perry was "disingenuous" and flat-out wrong to allow jurors to hear Casey Anthony lie to investigators and to her family during phone calls and visits with them when she was in jail.

The judge previously rejected defense arguments that Casey was actually in custody and that her parents and brother were acting as agents of investigators, so she should have been told she had a right to remain silent.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer said he's not surprised by Mason's demeanor in court Thursday.

"What people don't realize is that you file these motions, you make your arguments. Once you get a ruling, you move on. It's not personal, it's business," Sheaffer said.

After court, WFTV tried to ask Mason about his accusations against the judge. Instead, he hid his face behind his umbrella..

Both sides are to be back in court at 9:00am Friday morning to go over several remaining motions. WFTV.com will be providing a live video of the hearing and will be live-blogging at our Casey Anthony section.

Bill S's comment that " It's not personal, it's business" applies to 99% of rational, mature attys....and then there's Baez. He clearly can't grasp that concept. I expect to see him give HHJP the a$$ tomorrow, I don't think he can help it because  he's a putz.

Hornsby said the defense needs to do something to lessen the impact of Anthony's lies and seemingly uncaring attitude before anyone else knew her daughter was missing.

"The defense recognizes Casey's statements are very damaging to the case, and so they have to put on some type of evidence to explain away why she didn't respond the way you would expect a normal grieving mother to respond about where her daughter was," Hornsby said.

Ashton also announced that he would turn over a CD to the defense team of 236 photos he plans to use at trial. The images include some of Caylee Anthony's remains, which have been sealed by the court.

Arguments over scientific evidence will resume on Friday morning.

Not surprising....I mean she inserted herself by being a protester, and imo, most of the folks out there at the Anthony home were kinda nutz. lol  And of course she has seen what has happened to others in this case.  She is insignificant to this case....from any aspect.

I hope they remain sealed. But when this trial is over, I would like to see it ordered, as part of her sentencing, that all of these photos line Casey's walls to her very narrow cell.  I want them in her face 24/7....I never want her to forget for one second what she did to Caylee, her own flesh and blood.

I just finished watching the hearing.   http://www.wftv.com/video/27383959/index.html    About how long tomorrow will take.....the person that drags out everything, by playing 50 questions with the same question or arguing a motion with nothing more than his azz, is not even in the courtroom to answer how long things will take.  I feel bad for Judge Perry's staff as they will now have to be on call.  Baez messes up everyone's life.
