If the judge grants Anthony's motion, it will not be the first time a high-profile member of her defense team leaves the case.

Todd Macaluso left the team in February of 2010 to deal with disciplinary claims from the California bar.

Andrea Lyon, the so-called "Angel of Death Row" left the case in July.

Linda Kenney Baden left the team in October. She was originally brought onto the team to work on forensic issues.

The case returns to court at 9 a.m. Wednesday for more hearings. WESH.com will stream the hearings live.

Jury selection in Anthony's murder trial is scheduled to begin May 9.
