Interesting.

The expert says that Casey's overly long sleeves give the impression that she is hiding something.

She also mentions the "Nerd Defense" ...wearing glasses during the trial and its impact.

Found this:

http://articles.nydailynews.com/2011-02-13/news/28613008_1

Defense lawyers swear by gimmick of having defendants wearing glasses at trial

<snipped>

"Glasses soften their appearance so that they don't look capable of committing a violent crime," said veteran lawyer Harvey Slovis, who coaches clients on what to wear in court.

"I've tried cases where there's been a tremendous amount of evidence, but my client wore glasses, dressed well and got acquitted."

Wonder if come trial time, Casey will don her glasses.

If bozo is allowed to ask stupid questions of all the witnesses in the trial it could last for six months. The good thing is he does not realize when he has made a point and then discredits his witness by asking more stupid questions. I loved that part.

I am betting this trial lasts at least 3 months, what say you?

I noticed another case where it appears the use of eyeglasses was part of the defense imo.  The images are of Laura Hall, and it concerned the murder case of Jennifer Cave.  When Laura Hall was first arrested, no glasses.  Glasses only worn a short time.  After trial, no glasses.  Notice how similarity of shape/size/color of the eyeglasses worn by Laura Hall and Casey Anthony.  Also, notice the hair put up in a bun.  JMHO

Pitonyak appeal dismissed
 ::snipping2::
In his recent appeal, Pitonyak's lawyers argued that it was Laura Ashley Hall who killed Cave, whose dismembered body was found in Pitonyak's bathtub. Hall was convicted of tampering with evidence and hindering apprehension in the case and is serving 10 years in prison.

Don't think glasses are going to help. She didn't have them on in any of the 31 days while pole dancing and partying. I think the jury will realize just how contrived that would be. MOO

Val: I will find out more details this afternoon, but either tomorrow
morning or next Monday April 11th Detective Yuri Melich will be added to
America's Most Wanted All Star list as a possible nominee for this
year. I want to get the word out about this to as many people as I
can. If I am reading the page correctly, if he gets enough votes the
week his picture is listed, he goes on to be a finalist for the All Star
of 2011.

Det. Melich, well I don't think I have to tell anyone about how hard he
has worked in this case, and I would be so grateful if you mentioned
this and the link to vote on the Hinky Meter when it comes up. thanks
so much

I so agree! about the length of the  trial and about bozo's stupid questions! he will bore the jury and they will quickly see the man is not playing with a full deck!

Upon closer examination, Sims reaction did not come first, Mason was quicker to react at 1:44 on the video, to Cindy's statement about 'Casey's work purses'. Mason brushed his hair and simultaneously looked to the camera and looked away, then Sims at 1:45 looked to Mason.

 What caused both these experienced defense trial lawyers to reveal through their reactions?

 Something about 'Casey's work purses' statement by Cindy? Timing makes it seem so.

 is the defense going after Amy whose resumés were said to be in that 'work purse/aka black bag'? Reminds me we haven't yet seen Amy's deposition filed with the court, have we?

Good one Loca! Mason says, "This circus would not have occurred if my office was handling it". Someone should send this clip to Bozo. Yoo Hoo Kathi! We've another quote for you to hit Mason with. Monkey Devil!
Hornsby says: "Whoever's captaining Miss Anthony's case is putting it right into the storm.... From the standpoint of trying to the best for your client and trying to get the best resolution, it's been handled terribly." He was trying to be uncharacteristically diplomatic back then, since everyone knew that Bozo was at the helm.
