I think so, but she is just for penalty phase.....but who's to say she wouldn't take Mason's place.

The reason I thought it might be Simms was because of the way she looked at Casey the other day when Cindy mentioned the work purse.

After what we heard in the Frye hearings, Simms may feel she no longer has anything to offer, as the writing on the wall is as clear as ice.  I think it will be be Mason or her.  jmo   Actually no matter who leaves, it will cause a delay.

No media have picked up the latest filing yet????
They're always a day late and a dollar short......but you can bet Bozo and gang didn't file with the clerk until closing time, so the media couldn't get their hands on the documents.....didn't want their phones ringing all night! LOL

I have no doubts. I checked the site at 5:45....only the notice/brief of stepping down were there.   Several minutes later, the rest of the info was there.  Yep, we will have to wait until tomorrow.  Wonder how many press members will be sitting outside the door to get this scoop?   Unless of course, it was leaked by the defense.....

OMG ... I renege ... sorry Trimmy!

I forgot about the Mason prostate cancer thingy ... and all those DP attorneys ... who are surely turning tail to run after those 'Frey Hearings" ... yep, those ones that aren't finished .. yet Byass has already been called on the carpet ... and one "expert" is still "testifying" after HHBP has announced he wouldn't be allowed if this was the trial!   

Whoever it is ... I will bet it's not Byass ... unless HHBP or the prosecutors can make him?!! ... They can't can they?  At this point only KC can do that right?  And she's never been the brightest crayon in the box!

I'm in half for Simms ... but she just seems so much like the crayon next to KC .. (no wonder she joined this team)!  And I'm in half for Finnell (sp?) because she had to pull Byass out of the crevasse he dived into ... and I think that was an eye opening experience for her.

That said, i'd like to put all my money on Mason ... as I truly think dementia or some kind of "old-timers" has set in.  And it's sad to watch.  His actions (and words toward KB have convinced me that the man is "off his game".

If it's Mason due to "health" reasons Baez will probably be sure to tip off somebody....aw gee..we had to  but we want him to get well,,guess there will be a delay, blah, blah BUT if it's anyone else probably no leak
