ORLANDO, Fla. -- From videos of Casey Anthony cashing forged checks to pictures of her buying bras and beer, WFTV obtained a list (read it) of the videos and photos that the state could use in the murder trial. The state seems to be trying to show that Casey's mind was on anything but Caylee after she disappeared

"They will see her as a cold, calculating killer," WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer explained (watch full interview).

Your welcome Cookie.  It wasn't a slam dunk that kc was there the night of the mysterious pants change, I reread & wasn't clear whether kc was actually there that night or if she just used the incident to bolster the ruse that Amy must have mis[placed her money.....like I said, strange things happen when kc is around. I wouldn't want her fixing my drinks, just saying.

Prosecutors in the case against Casey Anthony say her lawyers want to use a defense strategy that’s not legal. The defense wants to tell Casey's side of the story, through two mental health experts, who would testify about Casey's state of mind. But prosecutors say Casey would have to take the witness stand before that could happen. According to prosecutors, the new defense experts are basing their opinions only on what Casey has told them. So even if she were to take the witness stand, their opinions still might not be admissible. Last month, the defense listed two new mental health experts it wants to call to testify about Casey Anthony's state of mind. The judge hasn't decided whether to allow it. Prosecutors have the experts' reports, and have started to question them under oath, but late Tuesday the prosecution filed a motion asking the judge to bar all discussion of their possible testimony during the trial unless Casey takes the stand in her own defense. The defense experts have not tested Casey or done any investigation into whatever she's told them. If Casey does testify, prosecutors then want the judge to listen to the defense experts' proposed testimonies without the jury present to determine whether their testimony is admissible. WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer believes the defense was trying to get its experts to tell Casey's story without having to put her on the stand and face tough cross examination by prosecutors. Sheaffer said, “The prosecutors are right on. Yep, exactly! Baez and Company want to get Casey's version of "poor Casey" to the juror's ears without risking her taking the stand. Since all they did was interview her, wouldn't that be simple hearsay?

I think the odds are even that George and Cindy will see the photos. I'm not sure they'll stay in the courtroom for them. Casey, on the other hand, will have a harder time avoiding them. She'd have to have a whole box of pens and a case of coloring books to scribble enough to keep her busy at the lawyer's table. Besides, I figure Baez will coach her to cry at the sight. JMO.

Casey Anthony neighbors dreading attention from case

They weren't looking for 15 minutes of fame, but the cameras found them and stayed on them. The neighbors of Casey Anthony’s parents were thrust into the spotlight simply because of their address.

During the summer of 2008, many in the neighborhood said they were prisoners in their own homes.

Now, nearly three years later it's still a very sensitive issue.

They didn't ask for helicopters flying overhead all hours of the day.  Or for the constant traffic of people wanting to get a closer look.  And they certainly didn't ask for all the protesters who moved in and who they say wouldn't move out.

After Caylee Anthony's remains were found, the east Orange County neighborhood tried picking up the pieces.

They patched up their yards, and many vowed to stand by their neighbors, George and Cindy Anthony.

But what they went through isn't quite yet a distant memory.

WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer believes the defense was trying to get its experts to tell Casey's story without having to put her on the stand and face tough cross examination by prosecutors.

“The prosecutors are right on. They recognize what the defense was trying to do and shut it down before it even gets started,” Sheaffer said.

Prosecutors are scheduled to continue deposing these new defense witnesses on Wednesday.

Casey's defense attorneys only have two more days to file any more motions challenging scientific evidence. Any motions will be discussed at a hearing on Friday, along with how jury selection will work.

A jury is set to be picked at an undisclosed location in another judicial circuit. However, Chief Judge Belvin Perry said if suitable jurors can't be found there, they'll come back to Orange County to try to find some.

Casey is accused of murdering her daughter Caylee, putting the child's body in her trunk, taking it to the woods near their house and dumping it there.

I don't think that they will stay in the courtroom to view the photos..I sure wouldn't be able to do that! Casey Ho will not even look up from her "busy" work...She will jab her eyes a few times at the end of the photos being shown...jmo

Let us not forget that the Anthonys have already viewed Caylee's remains at the strip mall whatever it was....where the 2nd autopsy was taken.  And most of us already feel they knew where Caylee rested waaaay before she was found.  Seeing photos during trial will only set yet another stage for the A's to produce another fake stage production.  Any tears for Caylee at this point will obviously be forced to gather sympathy.....a huge waste as I don't see anyone giving them any more than what they deserve.  Tears for Caylee stopped long ago and was replaced with joy from money.   jmo

Yikes..Tupes..did they actually view Caylee's little body at the second autopsy? I didn't know that...what grand parent would want to see that? what was their reasoning for viewing Caylee in that condition?
