Finnel filed April 7th more witness - Alex Green and Pam Gibbs as new witnesses for penalty phase
Humm I don't recall these two names, Does anyone else?

Pam Gibbs is mother of Lauren Gibbs, friend of KC's who babysat Caylee when KC worked @ Sports authority....UNTIL Lauren found out KC never was working.

Alex Green is an ex-boyfriend of Skanky's

IMHO, worthless testimony even in DP penalty phase.

Isn't there a picture of Caylee at Richards where there is a bruise on her little cheek. The one where Cindy first said Casey told her it was taken at the Nanny's. Then later said it was Richards apartment but they 2 apartments were alike or something to that effect.

This one, Green Eyes?
This one shows the right eye, the other shows the discoloration under the left eye.

Exactly what happens when someone slaps a person face when they are wearing a ring...Ive witnessed too many of these to count.  Three different occasions would lead me to question if there was indeed abuse.

Am sure this has been asked/answered many times, so I apologize for having a 'senior moment'..

Why isn't KC wearing jail garb to these hearings, along with handcuffs and/or leg restraints?  Seems to me that other inmates have to wear stuff like that when they go to court, why not her?

I'd like to see her looking like an actual inmate, hear her chains 'clink'.  lol

Hi, Wyks!

I'm not sure how it came to be that KC's wearing street clothes...but has been doing that all along.

The shackels...well, one day the chain got caught in the elevator opening and the bottom where the doors open an close, and KC went down immediately, face first and she broke a tooth.  After that the defense complained about how much the shackles hurt KC and asked if the could be removed while she's in the court room.  Judge allowed. Too bad.  I always loved hearing those shackles make music!

Does anyone know...will that continue during the trial?

Hi Puzzler!

Yeah, I remember seeing them showing the video of what they had, in the elevators... kinda wondered even then if the guard/s didn't just let her fall.  Like, oh... oopsy, I must have blinked, didn't see ya, so sorry.

Judge Perry may not want to take back what the other judge agreed to, for the hearings, (or may not be able to, I dunno)... but seems to me that he could change things up for the trial.

It just burns my britches that an accused murderer can waltz in and out of court like that, while other inmates accused for much lesser things have to drag themselves in and out wearing chains.   Would things be different if it were a 250+ lb muscular man accused of murder, who had fallen and broken a tooth, would they take the chains off him in court cuz they bother him?   I kinda doubt it...

She's been wearing street clothes at every hearing, IIRC.

I don't think that is special treatment. You just need someone to drop off the clothes every day for court for you.

About the restraints, she fell into an elevator and broke her tooth a while back. Baez then asked for her to be able to forgo the chains while in court and was granted that.

Thanks Brandi!

Yeah, I knew about that stuff, it just seems (to me) like it's special treatment of KC.

I've thought about other court cases in Florida, can't remember one that I've seen recently, where the inmate shows up in street clothes.  Even drug dealers (who aren't accused in a death penalty case) show up in jail garb, wearing restraints.  Sure am hoping not every inmate finds out that to forgo the restraints, all they have to do is trip and fall, make it look good, and have their attorney ask to have them removed every single time they walk into court.

I'm taking notes, just in case I ever need preferential treatment in court.  hehe

4.1.6 Defendant’s Appearance Before Jury: Jail Clothing and Restraints

The presumption of innocence prevents a court from compelling a defendant to wear identifiable prison clothing at trial. The presumption of innocence does not apply to a sentencing proceeding, however, and the Ninth Circuit and other circuits have held that requiring a defendant to wear prison clothing at sentencing does not offend due process.

Not sure if this holds true for pre-trial hearings. Maybe it does.

Looks like a hair and a bruise to me.

All I did was crop her out and blow it up 400%.

NO retouching or changing contrast or anything.

*shrug*

Looks like a bruise and hair to me too, Brandi.

Jury selection will be somewhere very close to Orlando.  JP said if they left by 8am it would be ample enough time to get there.

Caught that

That would likely be Volusia county or Brevard county if east of Orlando & Tampa on the west of Orlando.

I'm going with Brevard County.
(Bozo might misunderstand and think he heard Broward ).

Broward is Miami area and I don't believe they would bring people that far when they have all those counties close.

Yes, I know. Broward County, then Dade County.
I think Brevard County will be the one.

OK, I see it now.....and per RM, she bumped her face on the table at his place, so it must be.

Okay...I've been thinking (anybody smell smoke?) about what transpired today, especially all the discussion about the pics and the little t-shirt found with Caylee's remains, the one George, Cindy and Lee claim that they've never seen. Casey stole money from everyone...her mother, her friends, her elderly grandparents, Caylee's piggy bank and even her brother, isn't it possible that Casey also shoplifted? She seems to find a way to get what she wants, has a sense of entitlement and given her current situation, she obviously doesn't consider consequences for her actions. Isn't it also possible that RM, or some other friend purchased that t for Caylee? This case has dragged on for a lifetime, at least Caylee's lifetime and I can't recall exactly what happened when, but seems to me casey made a visit to RM home not long after she left her parents house. I wonder...did she retireve that t from RM home to to implicate him? There was also the visit to JG's home to use the bathroom? Was that the day she moved Caylee's body to the swamp and wanted to make sure no evidence was found at the Anthony home? Seems from the very beginning Casey tried to implicate many, many people when she disposed of Caylee along with all these other items she may have collected....yep, cold, calculated and premeditated.

PS If my RM theory has any truth to it, I wonder if he noticed the shirt was missing and when, probably assumed casey had taken it, or Caylee wore it out of his house one day.
