Newfie! that is exactly what it is! a fishing expedition! so much money gone down the poop shooter! for fishing expeditions!! I think the judge allowes it to  prove to mason he isnt biased! that way when he lowers the boom!! mason cant complain! oh well doesnt make sense but I think mason thought that he would find favor with the jusge because of masons years as an attorney!! I am not impressed with his bio nor his ill actions!!

I just read the depos from the TES volunteers who apparently have been represented as having searched in the spot where Caylee's remains were found.  None of them did so.  It seems that Mr. Lyons bin lyin'. There are written claims on the exhibits which are not in the searchers' handwriting, i.e. "I searched 20 feet into the woods." when the searcher says she didn't get off the grassy area by the road.  These witnesses are no good to the defense.  I wonder where the 15 searchers that Mason claimed searched in the "Exact spot," where Caylee was found.  I think Jubilation T. Cornpone bin lyin' too.

Yep, loca.  the whole bunch bin lyin'.  But I wonder why Kenny-Baden made the statements which appear to have violated the attorney-client privilege.  Also, I wanted to upchuck when JVM or someone on that show said that Kenny-Baden is one of the most "Lauded" attorneys in the country.  IMO the only reason anyone hires her is because of her husband--trying to get free advice from a forensic pathologist--Two for the price of one, as it were. I was less than impressed with her presentations in court in Orlando, especially that she had to "Educate" the court.  I think the fashion police should arrest her. That lace-up-the-back number was a crime.

There's another thing in the depositions of the TES searchers which is very irritating.  Mr. Mason-Cornpone can't keep his mouth shut during the times the state is deposing the witness.  I've seen it in depositions before.  At one point, Linda was questioning the witness, Mason butted with some remark, and Aston told him not to tell Linda what to do.  He really is just an irritating pest.  I wonder if he could be arrested for pestiness.

WKMG’s Mike DeForest highlighted that CBS said it did not pay defense consultant Richard Gabriel to guide a focus group that acquitted Anthony of first-degree murder. And Gabriel was not allowed to keep five hours of video in which panelists discussed the case, DeForest added.

“But Gabriel, who donates his services to Anthony’s defense team, was allowed to share with them [defense attorneys Jose Baez and Cheney Mason]  detailed results from the CBS focus group,” DeForest said.

I wonder if she will be held responsible for saying what she did!!  and cant baez be held accountable by the judge for doing the 48 hrs right before jury selection?
I too was not impressed with her behaviour  in the courtroom did not impress me!!
I think mason salivated to join the defense so that he could be connected to the badens and lyons! I dont think mason was all that in florida! sure he has been practicing law for many years but that doesnt make you  a great well know lawyer!!  He just brown nosed after making comments against casey and her attorney in the begining!! I am highly disgusted with jean casarus!!  she does not tell it like it is!! I think vinny politano tries to lean to the right thing!!

jose is not high profile legal material!! he lacks the vocabulary! finesse and what it takes to swim with the best of the best in orlando!!

oh and the rug mason wears on his head is real ovious! it does not match his beard!!  maybe next storm will blow it away on live t.v one can dream!! that he be humiliated as he has with kathi b and jeff and linda!

My guess as to why LKB said KC was a liar is that this is now part of the defense strategy: KC is a habitual liar, like a klepto can't help stealing, she can't help lying. That is why she made up stories to the police- part of her habitual behavior pattern- because she can't tell the truth to save her life,, blah, blah, history of lying to parents and friends, etc. etc. So she lies because she can't help herself, not becuase she's trying to cover up murdering her child.
Hopefully that won't be enough to create reasonable doubt as to her motive for lying in the eyes of the jury.

Mu GUESS is they are TES searchers that the defense 'identified' as having searched the area of the remains site, but have not put on the 'official' defense witness list.

   Hi Miss Sunny..so good to see you and hear from you.  I am pages behind so I am doing the quick catch up dance. 

I really want justice for Caylee..and I also perceive part of that as what really happened on June 15th and the days following.  I wonder if we will ever really know the whole truth, since none of the A's can be trusted to tell the truth.  I think it is important ..but my bet is Casey will never tell all the facts to anyone.    I really hope she gets the DP and then hours before her execution makes a Midnight confession to someone..and that someone lets the world know just how horrible one human being, a mother, treated her only child.

Hey loca!  Thanks for this info.....so the State deposed these people in January of this year!  Why is the defense just now getting around to deposing them? Geesh.  Same old, same old.....they are so predictable with the delay BS.

LOL the defense has been overworked doing all their cameos and 48 hour appearances...how the he!!could they possibly find the time to depose these witnesses.

Hi Scatty,  What you say may be true but kleptomaniacs are prosecuted for shoplifting when they are caught.  And I think most people who commit a crime do lie about it and say they didn't do it.  Prisons are full of them.  I don't think that defense would be permitted.  I don't think it's a legal defense.  But a lot of things have been done which IMO are illegal, such as their PI trying to get witnesses to change their stories, Mason's and Baez' courtroom antics, and Baez and Mason going on TV and then trying to claim that pre-trial publicity has tainted the jury pool.  I wish Judge Perry would take control of this trial and his courtroom and demand a little decorum--that goes for the Anthonys and their gum chomping too.
