PARSONS, Tennessee (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) -- As the search for Holly Bobo moves into day 6 the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations made a few announcements Monday: (1)They need more volunteers to come search Tuesday; (2) this is not a hoax; (3) they want people in the community to think about anything peculiar that happened since Holly went missing; and (4) the governor has tripled the reward amount.

During Monday’s press conference TBI Director Mark Gwyn announced that Governor Bill Haslam has increased the reward for information on the whereabouts of Holly Bobo to $75,000.

Dive teams are searching waterways and investigators are trying to ascertain which items found by searchers are linked to Holly.

“The next analysis of a piece of evidence could be a key in solving this particular incident,” Gwyn said. “I can tell you that we have not eliminated anyone from this case.”

Investigators say Holly was led into the woods behind her house by the hand or arm. They believe she was coerced and feared for her life, complying with her abductor. They believe the man, dressed in full camouflaged clothing, likely has knowledge of the thick woods nearby.

Ongoing rumors

This case has been riddled with rumors and accusations against Holly’s family and her boyfriend. “We don’t deal with rumors,” Gwyn announced. “We stick to facts. As long as leads come in, we will be here.”

Asked if Holly’s brother and boyfriend have been ruled out as suspects in the case, TBI spokeswoman Kristen Helm wrote in an email Monday afternoon, "To reiterate what the Director [of TBI] said, no one has been ruled out at this time.

“However, the focus of law enforcement developing a suspect is outside immediate friends and family.

"Both Clint and Drew have been helpful and cooperative throughout the investigation. Clint, is being treated as an eye witness at this time,” she said.

“We need the public to think back, figure out if someone was acting unusual Wednesday,” Gwyn said

When asked about possible phone activity on Holly’s cell phone, Gwyn responded, “No comment about alleged cell phone activity.”

When asked about duct tape found with blonde hair attached to it, the TBI chose not to comment.

The TBI announced law enforcement will now be staging at the National Guard Armory in Parsons.

There have been rumors that Holly was found and that this entire thing was a hoax. Helm said, “There is no possible way this is a hoax.”

Man, it's like they're looking for a needle in a haystack.  By "new tactic" I wonder if they mean putting pressure on the perp?  It looks like Holly's home road and Myracletown road intersect, although I'm not good with maps.

Their home is "A" on the map.  Myracletown intersects right at the south end of that lake then curves down south.  It's just a few minutes from the home.
