Janet, very good point about the morning scenario!
My gut tells be it was her BF. Could be why it is so sensitive and stories changed. That's why we don't hear anything re him or from him in my opinion.

I am leaning towards the alleged missing ex-boyfriend with the alleged restraining order against him ... the ex-boyfriend who allegedly threatened to kill Holly.  I could be wrong.

Janet

Who is the ex bf? Wish we knew.

THP: "New Tactics" in Holly Bobo Search .
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 12:49 PM Staff Reports

Parsons, TN - In an update from Decatur County this morning, a spokesman with the Tennessee Highway Patrol stated that they would be trying some "new tactics", as the search for 20 year old Holly Bobo continues in West Tennessee.

Kristen Helm, with the TBI in Nashville, confirmed that 5 roadblocks were put in put in place this morning in the area of the Bobo residence around Swan Johnson Road and adjoining Myracle Town Road, among other roads in the Darden community area.

Helm acknowledged that the police presence in the rural area was there to monitor traffic around the community and to encourage citizens to come forward with any information that may be useful as investigators sift through leads and evidence related to Holly's disappearance on Wednesday, April 13th.

One source in Decatur County suggested that additional new investigators had been brought in to question both residents and motorists about events from last Wednesday that might lead investigators closer to finding Holly Lynn Bobo.

The local news around here has nothing new today about Holly. Hopefully, there will be some new development at some point.

The only thing I have heard new came from an aunt who said that my cousin's husband and his father had taken their 4-wheelers to the area yesterday and today to help search. She said he told her that it was going to be covered on Nancy Grace tonight. I haven't talked to him myself so I don't know what transpired to make him think such...perhaps he saw their crews or something.

As the days continue with no additional progress, I must admit feeling less hopeful of a good outcome. They have not scaled back the search and I keep telling myself what a good sign that is. They are also still classifying it as "search and rescue" as opposed to a recovery mission. Plus, they appear to keep bringing in more professional investigative manpower.

I just can't imagine what this family is enduring.

Janet

Not to make light of a horrible situation, but you just gave me a chuckle which is much needed

Capps ... you are correct.  Considering there is only one media article that mentions a missing ex-boyfriend that had a restraining order against him for threatening the life of Holly ... I do have to be careful for my speculations.

Where you able to find out anything further from your contact at The Examiner?

Life outside the computer room beckons once again.

Holly Bobo: FBI says "led away" not dragged through carport
April 15th, 2011 1:28 pm ET

<snipped>

According to the source, Holly had two ex-boyfriends.  One from a few days ago and the other, she had a restraining order against, because he threatened to kill her.  Holly left the house to go to school and her brother heard her arguing with her ex-boyfriend who was dressed in camo, outside the home.  He saw them both walking towards the wooded area of the yard, and he went back to what he was doing.  About an hour later he noticed his sister's car was still in the driveway.  He called his parents, a friend of Holly's and then the ex-boyfriend, and then the police.

Holly's ex-boyfriend was at work earlier and then left and he has not been seen since.

Day 7 Of Search For Holly Bobo In Decatur County. Snipped

A spokesman for the family said the Bobo's are frustrated with rumors that the brother might be involved.

"I've known Clint as long as I've known Holly and as a character witness for him I just could never see Clint being involved in anything of this nature, so I think we can probably stop the rumors about his involvement," said spokesman Kevin Bromley.

The TBI is still checking to see if blood found in the carport of the Bobo home is connected to the case.  They also discovered Holly's lunch box about eight miles from her home on Gooch Road last week.

Hundreds Continue Holly Bobo Search

Snipped..

PARSONS, Tenn. - Off Highway 69 in Parsons, volunteers continue to search the wooded areas around Decatur County for Holly Bobo. Day 7 of the search started Tuesday just after 7:00am.

Up and down Tennessee Street, signs of hope and prayer for the missing 20-year old nursing student are evident. Here, Holly Bobo's disappearance isn't just a water cooler conversation, it's the only conversation the people in this tight knit small town are having.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Kristin Helm told Fox News that a team of FBI agents and US Marshals are canvassing the neighborhood. Last week they found a lunchbox several miles from Bobo's home, along with other items that they believe belong to her.

"We do have some other things that we believe might belong to her, but [they] are undergoing forensic testing," Helm said.

Detectives believe that the abductor may be from the Parsons area and he may be somebody acquainted with Bobo and her family.

"We're looking for someone who probably lives in that general area or is familiar with that area," Helms said. "If she was led into the woods, he would need to know the terrain to get in and out. It's a very small community. If she didn't know him directly, she may have been familiar with him."
