I happen to agree with Clint & Holly's friends, and for those that know me by now if I had any doubt I'd say so just as adamantly. Just shy of a week ago I went thru every non private set FB on Holly, Clint & Drew's FB friends as some are doing now....it should be noted that NOTHING was found that contradicts Clint or Drew should be looked at disparagingly.
I'm confused like everyone one on all the contradictions. I believe Clint is innocent in all this.. I just don't understand why things are so scrambled in all of the reports. Is Clint afraid, was he told to change his story by LE because of the sensitivity of the situation? I do believe he thought it was Drew, and she was screaming,he saw her being drug into the woods, maybe he heard her scream? Maybe he called 911 earlier than what was reported... I am very open minded. I just don't understand several bits and pieces, like why would Drew show her a turkey in the woods? I don't know anything about hunting so I ask,any one know if that seems normal? Or would he pull up with the Turkey to show her? Lots of thoughts goin through the mind..

Holly Bobo Abduction: 3,000 attend vigil, searchers will be out in force Friday

PARSONS, Tennessee (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) -- Nothing could stop some 3,000 people in Decatur County – not pouring rain, not power outages – from gathering together for a candlelight and prayer vigil to mark week one of Holly Bobo’s abduction from outside her Parsons, Tennessee home - volunteers are expected to be out in force again Friday, looking for clues into Holly's disappearance.
::snipping2::
Last Wednesday morning Holly did the same thing she did every day – she headed off to school at about 7:30 a.m. Her 25-year-old brother, Clint Bobo, saw her being led into the woods outside their home by a man dressed in full camo. Clint believed the man was Holly’s boyfriend, Drew.
Police surmise now that Holly was forced to walk into the woods by her abductor, fearing for her life.
Many people who have read Holly’s story have commented that they would find it odd to see a man outfitted in camouflage clothing at 7:30 in the morning. But to those living in Decatur County, there’s nothing odd about it.
Sometime later Clint went outside and noticed Holly’s car still in the driveway and blood on the ground. He became alarmed and immediately called 911.
Another 911 call was made by a neighbor who claimed she heard Holly scream. Some have questioned why she was the only one to hear Holly screaming.
::snipping2::
TBI spokeswoman Kristin Helm said in an email to me on Wednesday that they are not going to release information about who has taken a polygraph test.
As long as this is an active investigation, much information in this case will be held close to the chest and not released to the public. This is not unusual.

Producer for NG was just on HLN and reported again that Clint thought Holly was talking to her boyfriend & added that he is a hunting buddy of Clint's
. Reported that investigators have been targeting certain areas & over the phone TBI Director Gwyn stated that they are following every lead & similar possible crime. I caught the tail end of it as I was taking a time out for a manicure, just finished my gel overlay & now deciding on design Ill finish tonight. Vinnie mentioned that NG will have Holly's case on again tonight.
If Clint is revealing the truth about the events encompassing the morning of April 17th ... he would know beyond a doubt whether or not it was Drew he observed from behind talking with his sister on the morning of April 13th. His hunting buddy! His sisters boyfriend!
I can only conclude that his backtracking in regards to implicating Drew may be a sign of a guilty conscience. I could be wrong.
Heavy camo & a hat would not lead me to conclude that from a distance or that hour (7:30AM). I respectfully disagree.
1. Holly and her alleged boyfriend were not far from the house when first observed by Clint.
2. On April 13th at 6:30 AM in the morning ... the sun has risen in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
3. I have yet to read a media report which state that Clint claimed that the abductor had a head covering ... only that he was not concerned because he assumed the person wearing camouflage ... talking to his sister and ... escorting her into the woods ... was her boyfriend.
Capp ... I concede my hinky feeling regarding Clint's involvement in the disappearance of his sister could be wrong. However ... it must not be taken lightly that investigators originally ruled out Clint and Drew as persons of interest but ... have now done a flip flop.

Janet, there is no report that Holly was with her boyfriend, Drew (I stated why his last name should be withheld but it was ignored). The only thing reported was that Clint "thought" it was her boyfriend only later to find out something had to be wrong when he saw her car & the reported blood.
The sun is NOT the only issue to consider.
I havent seen anything about a hat either, but its typical when in camo but yes we dont know if this person indeed wore a hat.
BOTH Clint and Drew were cleared but then the TBI decided not to exclude anyone & as a matter of fact are in the process of re-interviewing all parties known. They have not necessarily "flip flopped" as you worded it. They have recently stated that they are treating Clint as an eyewitness. They also stated quite clearly that they have no POI or suspect in this case thus far. It is not uncommon & I wouldnt assume anything by it. This team of LE is leaving no stone unturned & are doing an impeccable job in this criminal investigation, as it should be. They are keeping things close to the chest & I think they are being very wise in doing so given the circumstances of the case.

Benton County Sex Offender Arrested after Stalking 2 Teens in Jackson
MONDAY, APRIL 18, 2011 2:25 PM
Jackson, TN - The Jackson Police Department announced today that a Holladay man was arrested after allegedly stalking two 19 year old females on various occasions over the last two weeks.
Jason Everett Nickell, 39, of Holladay, TN, was charged with two counts of stalking.
According to reports, On April 6th at around 6 p.m., a 19-year-old Jackson woman was shopping inside the Old Hickory Mall.
The woman reported that a stranger had approached her and told how attractive she was. The man followed her in and out of several stores. This made her feel uneasy and she left the mall.
On April 7th around 8 p.m., the same 19-year-old woman was leaving Kohl's Department Store on Vann Drive when the same man pulled up next to her in a blue car and again began complimenting her on her appearance.
::snipping2::
On April 7 around 5:30 p.m., a stranger, driving a blue car, approached a different 19-year-old woman, who is a student, on the campus of Union University and began complimenting her.
The man further asked her if she knew what a fetish was and made a comment about her feet.
The woman walked away to her dorm room and noticed through the window that the car had pulled into a parking space closer to her dormitory. The woman contacted Union security. They responded and the man left.
Security was able to obtain a license plate number on the car that he was driving.
The woman remembered that the same man had been watching her intently as she walked across the parking lot of Target about a week earlier.
He continued to watch her when she exited the store about twenty minutes later.
Union security was integral in helping Jackson.......

I wish I had the ability to really describe what it's like to live in rural TN. All I can think of tonight as I read about Holly's abduction are words to a song recorded by Jason Aldean. I've always liked the song (even though I don't always like country music) but as I've read speculations and innuendos this last week, those words have been magnified in my brain...especially the chorus:
"These are my people. This is where I come from. We're giving this life everything we've got and then some. It ain't always pretty...but it's real. It's the way we were made...wouldn't have it any other way. These are my people."
It may be impossible to understand our culture unless you have experienced it. Small towns in the rural South are very similiar to families. We may talk about our own but we don't want anyone else to disrespect them. Of course, that courtesy doesn't extend to those who break the law but it is very disheartening to read of grieving family members having their integrity questioned.
How observant are any of us in any given moment when it's just something that appears to be normal? It's easy in hindsight to question the actions of another but if it seemed within the realm of the ordinary, would you have reacted differently? Regardless of the outcome of this, that young man will never forget and probably never forgive himself for going about his normal routine that morning. Men in general and most especially Southern men consider it a duty to protect the women of the family. I suspect it will take counseling for him to ever forgive himself for his assumptions that day and even with that, it won't come easy.
Folks in small towns like we have around here are not used to a major crime such as this. They certainly are not media savvy and I suspect that comments could have been made without the realization that they would be taken as gospel. My experience with any tragedy in a small town around here is that you do take it as part truth/part rumor unless you hear it from the source yourself. A simple choice of words can influence the whole tone of what is heard by another. By the time that statement has passed through several voices, the entire premise may have changed.
Then, too, there is a transparency that I feel sure law enforcement felt the need to temper in this situation. I think that is why stories seemed to change and new information seemed less forthcoming. The professionals know what must be kept close to the vest and that everything must be done in such a fashion that will not jeopardize an arrest and conviction. We strongly believe in right and wrong and with emotions running so high, I suspect some things are not being shared publicly to prevent possible further tragedy.
I have full confidence in our law enforcement. I am impressed but not surprised at the community's outpouring of compassion and help. It's just the way of life around here. When a neighbor needs help, you help because you know the same would be done for you. It's not a question of influence or such. It's just the basic "love thy neighbor" mentality of our people. The wealth in our state is in the hearts of our people.
I can also tell you that should this not end well for Holly, the entire area will grieve with the Bobos. It's just our way of life here. That whole concept of taking a village to raise a child? We take it literally around here (and yes...we "raise" a child instead of rearing one.)
I do not know Holly nor her family personally but yet I feel as though I do because I know many just like them. Although I cannot begin to imagine their despair, I do know that their faith will sustain. Any tragedy such as this brings out the best and the worst in people. I know they are feeling the love and prayers of many and I pray they will never read some of the things said on some of those social sites on the web. It is surreal to read some of the evil things that have been posted on some of those pages.
As with many others, I continue to pray for Holly's return. May this be one abduction that ends well.

Why all of a sudden is that link not posting right for Will Nunley's twitter page?
You need to highlight the url, then click on hyperlink, which is the globe in the second row, third from left (just above monkey emoticons). Muffy

Thanks for bringing this perp arrest forward again. I do not think this was his first rodeo. I posted this also a few pages back and can not get this POS out of my mind. I really think this guy may have something to do with whatever happened to Holly. I just can't shake this feeling with this guy. I really do not think Clint or Drew had anything at all to do with this. My hinky meter is on someone exactly like this Jason Everett Nickell character. I wonder if he has some ties to Holly's town.

Good morning Monkey's,
I can't get over how the prep threw her lunch away. Yes, I am stunned anyone could hurt anyone and just take someone.
Back to the lunch, he simply threw the food away in the lunch box. I would think he would have eaten the contents or
saved the food for later, if he were a loner, but he didn't, he threw the lunch away. Mrs. B recognized (reportly) the lunch,
and said it was the lunch HB packed. This tells me Perp either already ate and was not hungry, or a picky eater or
he lived at home and knew mom or granny would cook him up something later. If this prep was a "mountain man" he
would have saved the food for later...my opinion's.
