Hello Monks---Hi Sunny and Northern Rose---Geraldo Rivera should stick to opening deceased Mafia Dons' safes.  I don't know how he thinks he'll raise "Hell" in Orlando.  I hope the Judge hears about this and bars him from his courtroom.  I too think Geraldo Rivera is a racist. It is so bigoted to befriend Jose Baez simply because of his ethnic background, disregading the many reasons that he is anathema to decent people.  Dr. Martin Luther King said that one should be judged by the "Content of their character." I have no respect for Baez based solely on his character. The content of his character has been found wanting.  The same with Rivera.  I find them both lacking in ethics and morals.  And I think Rivera thinks entirely too much of himself.  Whatever credibility he once had, if any, evaporated with the opening of Al Capone's safe. And yes, he is a joke.  Nothing but a joke.

OMG!  I missed the second motion even being filed ... but weren't they told at the Frye hearings that His Honor would not be entertaining any more motions twice? ... or maybe I'm dreaming.

And seriously, this close to trial ... one would think Byass and Co would have bigger fish to fry ... like figuring out a plausible defense for their client ... or persuading her to plead guilty and throw herself on the mercy of the court. 

... but that's just me ... and I don't have that big old law degree Byass has ...

Every time I see him I picture seeing him getting knocked on his arse by  big hurricane wave in Galveston.    He should not be allowed on TV period after giving away the troop location. He must hs some iron clad contract with FOX.

Hi Mission!  I asked a 'friend' and he said the odds are against it. He said JP sticks to the law and the law says they should be sequestered until after their testimony. He said he would be SHOCKED to see him it anything other than

Judge: Jury can consider chloroform evidence in trial of mother

(CNN) -- A Florida judge ruled Wednesday that the jury in the upcoming trial of Casey Anthony can hear testimony that chloroform, a potentially fatal substance, was detected in the trunk of the woman's car.

Prosecutors contend that Anthony used "a substance" to kill her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Anthony, 25, faces a capital murder charge in the death of her young daughter, plus six other charges including aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter of a child and misleading law enforcement. The girl was reported missing in July 2008, about a month after she was last seen. It wasn't until five months later that investigators found her remains.

Orange County Superior Court Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. wrote that Arpad Vass, a research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, will be allowed to testify about whether and how chloroform was found in Anthony's car.

Perry said testimony on chloroform will be admissible as long as prosecutors can establish a proper foundation for it.

His decision is a setback for the defense, which comes just one day after he sided with prosecutors on three other key evidence rulings.
