Yes Magnolia and many more that don't post all that often but are long time members.  Also some that used to be members that no longer post here.  I hope everyone is OK.

At the hospital, the nurses came in and moved the beds across the room from the windows. Lot of good that would have done, IMO. I suppose that way the patient could see what's coming......

Is everyone checking in?

I see BlueMoon, CBB, Mere are ok, how about our Alabama monkeys?  Horrible storms, must be a record.  So many have lost so much

Alabama was hit hard. Help me Klaas............ who all are we looking for? I'm not thinking straight yet.

CBB, I'm not even sure.  I don't know where alot of people live any more.  I think Anna still lives in Alabama.  I do know that a very high percentage of our members live somewhere in the southern states or mid west and these storms covered a wide area.   I just pray everyone is ok.

Me too, Klaas.... Me too.

Well, I am really off to bed this time.  My hubby said today we know we are getting old when all we do is sit and watch the weather channel.  You think?

Good night and glad Mere and CBB are o.k.  My prayers go out to everyone who have been affected by this disaster.  So sad.

Glad to hear that Tylergal is OK, San! Yeah, I'm looking for Magnolia too. It's amazing......... the sky is blue today and the air is just so clean and clear. I suppose all the rain and hail gave everything a good wash!  I slept like a rock when I finally went to bed. Folks were crawling out and checking in until around 2 this morning, but I was glad to hear from everyone!

All is fine here.  We didn't even lose power.   Lots of big hail and winds and rain,
but nothing major.  Thanks for thinking of me!

Thanks for all the prayers and concern!  I'm fine and no storm damage to speak of.

We did lose power for about 5 hours or so but just some really scary wind and rain.

Most people here are remembering April 27 of last year when 250+ lost their lives in Alabama alone especially in the Tuscaloosa area.  It was nothing so bad as that and I hope to never see that again.

Again, thank all!

Good to hear from you Mags.  These storms have been a wild ride.  So much destruction and so many lives affected by it.

We have been up on our roof today.  The high winds blew off LOTS of shingles.   He found them all except one and patched them for now.  Had rain to leak in on the front of the house.  Big ole water stain on my cathedral ceiling.  Guess we will have to get the roof replaced.

I have cleaned house all day, washed all bed clothes, shower curtains, rugs.  I am worn out.  Mere, is everything o.k. today in your area?  I sure hope so.

My prayers go out to all affected by these storms.  My nieces (students at U of L'ville) are going to go to Henryville and Maryville, Indiana and help out.  They know people from there and they both felt they needed to help them out.
