Hi ! Thnx to all monkeys for their prayers !
2 weeks have passed with my recooperation, and I saw the Dr. today.

I am off all oxygen and meds, only need an inhaler !

I am still extremely tired, but he said it will
take a couple of more weeks.

Don't expect to bounce back at 60, like u
did at 35 ! LOL

Hi LEP, glad you are off all your meds.  You make sure you take it easy and just rest.

My nephew's girlfriends dog usually runs in her room and plays with her stuffed toys.  For some reason this is what she does to this one.

Everybody ok after all the storms??

Hi Cookie, I beleive most everyone has checked in from the areas affected and no major damage was reported.

We are concerned about Trimm though, last time she checked in was Feb. 23!  We all are so accustomed to waking up  in the morn to her wonderful updates on all the cases.  She also has the Monkey Jet, golf cart and holds the bail money to get we monkeys out of trouble!!!!!

Just making light .........Hope all is well Trimm and you'll be back ASAP

Hi Babskat! I'm showing the last time Trimm was active on the forum was Feb. 21st. That's a long time for Trimm and I share your concern. C'mon, Trimm.......... stop by and check in!

Mere, what a wonderful community you live in. Your post of their outpouring after the storms and tragedies really touch me. My heart goes out to all who have suffered because of the violent weather.

Hi everyone,

can't find the thread for Paige Birgfeld but they found her body.

Paige Birgfeld Found: Skeletal Remains Identified As Missing Colorado Mom

Skeletal remains found by a hiker in western Colorado belong to Paige Birgfeld, a mother of three who was working as an escort when she went missing nearly five years ago, authorities said Thursday.

"We are confident that we have identified the remains as belonging to Paige Birgfeld," Sgt. Matt Lewis of the Mesa County Sheriff's Office told The Huffington Post.

According to Lewis, the county medical examiner made the identification using dental records. Authorities are still awaiting the results of DNA tests being conducted by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, but said they do not expect those results to change their findings.

Thanks, OS.  I hate to hear this.  Being an escort is such a dangerous line of work.  God rest her soul.

Good Morning/Afternoon.....

The weather has been beautiful, but the week has been hard in this area.  Many funerals.
Cleanup goes on all day.  You can see the area that was hit from the interstate, and I have seen it now four times.  It looks like there was a pond or lake surrounded by homes....which might have been single and double wides and brick and mortar.  It would have been a very peaceful setting before the tornado.  I think underground storm shelters would be a good thing for those who are in mobile/RV/manufactured homes, but I bet they cost a bundle.

San I love the picture of the "standoff"....too cute.

LEP so glad that you are doing better now.

Miss Bee....thanks for the reminder..!

My sincere condolences to those that lost family, friends and neighbors in the tornadoes and for those that suffered injuries, damages and loss to their homes, vehicles, schools and work places.  And I give thanks for those that made it through the storm unscathed.
