He's still representing him in the supposed "human rights violation" complaint they filed concerning his arrest in Chile and the transfer to Peru.  The claim was if he withdrew from it, it couldn't be taken up by another lawyer.  I find that hard to believe.  Maximo enjoys the spotlight just as much as Joran does imo.  He was Joran's lawyer way too long for it not to have been "safe" for him.  Money and media is what it's all about for Maximo.
