ARUBA: It's all about Natalee...we won't give up!

« Reply #640 on: August 09, 2011, 01:11:26 AM »

I'll be surprised if the guy she was with killed her.  He wouldn't gain anything, unless he was just jealous of her relationship with the other guy.  The insurance policy they took out before they left was just travelers insurance, her mother was her beneficiary.

If she didn't drown, I'm leaning more to someone saw her and was watching.

Found their opportunity to abduct her (when the friend wasn't looking), and took her.

I think Baby Beach is one of the areas where there are a lot of thefts from tourists, so who knows who was lurking around.

I wonder how many people were on the beach at the same time they were out there, surely there are witnesses to something!

I just hope they find her, whatever happened.

Missing Woman Disappeared in Aruba

August 08, 2011 08:45 PM EDT

2 people recommend this | comments: 3

A woman is missing from Aruba in a case that seems reminiscent of the Natalee Holloway disappearance. The Maryland woman was visiting Aruba and was last seen around August 2nd at a casino and resort. Could she have met the same fate as some of the other missing women who've vanished while traveling abroad?

Robyn Gardner, 35, shares a striking resemblance to the missing teen from Alabama, Natalee Holloway. She is blonde, attractive and looks a few years younger than her actual age. Before anyone takes offense to the comparisons made between this disappearance and that of the Holloway case, it's important to know that even her own family made the connection. The boyfriend of Robyn Gardner suspects something terrible has happened and personally contacted the Natalee Holloway Resource Center.

Thank Klaas.

Could it be that that Aruban/Dutch "powers that be" have been working behind the scenes to assure that Joran does not serve his sentence in a Peruvian lockup for the murder of Stephany Flores?

Could it be that Joran van der Sloot is calling the shots?

Could it be that Joran is threatening to tell all in regards who in the Dutch/Aruba administration were behind the cover up that has shield him from accountable for his role in the demise of Natalee Holloway if he is not extradicted?

Could it be that Joran is threatening to tell all in regards to his designated role to further Aruba's underground economny encompassing the drug trade ... the sex trade ... illegal gambling ... if he is not extradicted?

PLETZER: One thing that makes my listeners scratch their heads so to speak and wonder, myself included and we'll talk about it again, is the fact of the underage drinking and gambling that had been going on admittedly by young van der Sloot.  Was there ever any discussion or has there ever been any discussion at least of filing some charges as far as that goes?

MANSUR:  No, there hasn't been any of that. The authorities have just (inaudible) it aside, they haven't paid any attention to it then and they're not paying any attention to it now and over the past 26 months.   I haven't seen anything in the direction of trying to make some kind of statement that this is not (inaudiable) at least make some sort of a statement that this is not (inaubible) because it is a known fact that as an underage he wasn't supposed to be in the casino, much less in the company of his father. He was there, there are video tapes to prove that and still the authorities haven't done anything with regard to that specific case.

I HAVE A VIP PASS

Joran van der Sloot - Suspect Statement - June 9, 2005

After that we drove straight to Carlos & Charlies. Deepak was the driver but I cannot remember now who was sitting beside him. I do not remember now if it was Satish or me. I estimate that we arrived at Carlos & Charlies between 00.15 and 00.30 hours. Deepak parked his car on the parking lot behind Carlos & Charlies and after that we walked into the building of Carlos & Charlies. I don't have to pay because I have a VIP pass. With my VIP pass Deepak and Satish were also allowed in.

To your question as to who gave me the VIP pass to Carlos & Charlies, I answer you that I got it through the office of Carlos & Charlies. I do not remember with the help of who I got the VIP pass. I go to Carlos & Charlies about one to three times a week

You know, I asked a question about, I understand that there was a statement made by Joran, where he talks about what he had done to Natalee and he described in very graphic detail, like, the stitching and embroidery and everything on Natalee`s underwear. And he goes, Oh, no, no, no. Absolutely not. Absolutely not. Well, little did he know I had just read the statements where Joran describes that to the "T," you know, two days before. But of course, I didn`t tell him that. But that`s just when I started to think something`s wrong here.

Yeah something's not adding up

Well, girls do sometimes just "go missing" in Aruba, donchaknow!

Guys, too, and it's always an "insurance scam" per Aruba.  They seem to have only rudimentary knowledge of how insurance actually works and the fact that the FBI can access policy information, etc.  At least they pretend to not know.

Hi Y'all!  I hope everyone is doing well.  I've been reading here and on the Caylee thread the past few months and thank you for all the latest info Monkeys!  Baby Beach is very isolated and creepy if you ask me.  You drive forever to the tip of the island, through sand dune type roads and follow wooden signs past the prison.  You see the ocean but nothing else and you feel like you are lost or if something happened - no one would know!  There is a small hamburger hut and a few umbrella tables and that is it.  If you look out towards the ocean, you are in a small cove that is protected by a shell covered sandbar.  There is an opening that goes out to the crashing waves on the other side.  I'm sure the current is strong there.  I hope they find this poor woman.

When I posted this, I hadn't done any research.  Now I've done enough to be concerned about this guy.  I hope the FBI gets involved and digs really deep.  I've got several possible scenarios I'm thinking about, none of them good.

I just hope they find her, so dead or alive will at least be answered.  For her family's sake.

I read today about Aruba's latest disappearance.  I guess Beth still has a lot to do to educate people about the dangers of this island.  It never ceases to amaze me that people still go there and think it cannot happen to them.  I do pray they find this woman soon and she is o.k.

Anything yet on the Kalpoe's lawsuit?

Robyn Gardner Goes Missing in Aruba
BY SARA HAMMEL

A Maryland woman has vanished in Aruba after taking a snorkeling trip with a friend, MyFoxDC reports.

The disappearance of Robyn Gardner, 35, last week comes six years after Alabama teen Natalee Holloway vanished from the same resort town.

Police are questioning the man Gardner was with on the island, Gary Giordano of Frederick, Md., who reportedly told investigators the pair took a snorkeling trip – and that Gardner never returned to shore.

NATALEE'S HERO

LOVING NATALEE
A MOTHER'S TESTAMENT OF HOPE AND FAITH
By Beth Holloway

Page 229:  As I read on in the journal, I discover that one of the most moving entries is her desription of a hero.  Natalee writes:

A Hero is someone who puts others before himself.  He or she is very selfless and cares about the well-being of others.  Heroes also accept life's challenges and remain strong through tough times.  They also have a strong sense of determination and stick to goals and morals.  I believe that heroes uphold morals and try to encourage others to live life morally correct.  Heroes are not only just people called in times of physical danger, but individuals that can both emotionally and physically help people get through rough times.  A hero should always show respect for other people as well as respect for himself.

Instantly I realize that Natalee is poignantly describing the people who have reached out to help her family get through this "tough time."  It's almost as if she is thanking everyone herself by recognizing the importance of selfless people.  And I am amazed at her profound words here.  I sit and read the entire journal ...

Page 219: I have to make difficult choices every day.  I have to make a conscious decision every morning when I wake up not to be bitter, not to live in resentment and let anger control me.  It's not easy.  I ask God to help me.
