Both bodies, one of which was a man, were wrapped in plastic, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

Two men found buried in pile of manure at Gary horse farm
Quote
Police in Gary, Indiana, are trying to identify two men whose bodies were buried in a pile of manure. They were discovered this weekend on a horse farm.

Police said they don't know how long the bodies have been buried there because manure speeds up decomposition.

ONE ID'd

One of two men found dead in a pile of manure in Gary last month has been identified, officials said.

Victor Flores, 35, of the 600 block of 143rd Street in East Chicago was found around noon April 24 near the intersection of 22nd Place and Mississippi Street with a gunshot wound to his head wrapped and wrapped in plastic, according to PJ Adams, spokesman for the Lake County coroner's office.

Flores' cause of death was listed as a gunshot wound to the head suffered in an apparent homicide, Adams said.

2nd body found in Gary manure pile identified
Updated at 04:56 PM today

May 16, 2011 (GARY, Ind.) -- A northwestern Indiana coroner has identified the second of two bodies found buried in a horse farm's manure pile as that of a Chicago man.

Lake County Chief Deputy Coroner P.J. Adams told the Post-Tribune of Merrillville that authorities used fingerprints provided by Indiana State Police to identify the body as 33-year-old Juan Antonio Perez. Adams says both Perez and 35-year-old Victor Flores of East Chicago were shot execution style.
