Baez Answers Questions At Hispanic Media Event

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's lead defense attorney, Jose Baez, took questions from the media on Wednesday, just days before her trial.

Baez spoke before a group of Hispanic journalists at the Numero Uno restaurant on South Orange Avenue. Baez took questions, but cameras were not allowed inside.

 ::snipping2:: Baez has taken some criticism for holding the event, which was essentially a casual sit down without TV cameras, to let reporters ask questions about him that don't relate to the case.   ::snipping2::

He is so full of himself if he thinks that the media has ANY interest in HIM that is not related to the case.  He was a pudgy gnome putz before the case and he is a pudgy balding gnome putz with the case, IMO   No one will cares about YOU BOBO.   Wonder if any the reporters had the gonads to ask him about him.....not paying child support, two houses in foreclosure, being sued for services not paid, bar complaint, bar complaint 2 ...all those things that make him a balding putz who is a nobody.

NR~ Even IF they asked him about those things it only endears him to the audience he speaks to...the ones who feel wronged by "the man", the ones who take pride in getting away with stuff or wish they too were a famous lawyer in nice suits that didn't have to set up payments plans for life to make amends. He wants to appeal to the lowest folks...he's the high school drop out Hispanic hero that beat the odds. I am so sick of him, kc, the Ants...all of them.
But I agree, I'd like for some brave reporter to ask him those things from a mainstream platform with an audience that would find it offensive but it hasn't happened yet and he's always got the "young and inexperienced " card in his pocket. That covers a multitude of sins.

I like how the article says he talked about his buddy Whoraldo.  Wishful thinking of what he wants to be when he grows up perhaps?  Maybe he can find a hurricane to go stand in.  At the rate his bald spot is growing he will at least have a aerodynamic head for the job.

I would think KC will be transferred Friday or Saturday to the "secret" location's jail.
Wouldn't we be able to tell from the inmate public records when & where she gets transferred to???

Since the trial will be in Orlando, there is no purpose in moving her.

I agree, but if it is only 45 minutes from Orlando they most likely will transport her not move her to another jail, don't ya think?

1st of all, I don't think it will be only 45 minutes away......JMO
Plans are to be there most of the entire week. They are not gonna spend all the additional $$$$ it would cost for daily transporting/security.
Judge Perry mentioned something a few hearings back about when KC would be transferred, but I'd have to go thru too many videos to find it. IIRC he said Saturday or Sunday.

Shoot, we didnt even have to get to trial to realize they would be pulling stunts....I guess this one is designed to garner sympathy.   What do they have to say now so urgently after nearly three years, please.   I dont know but I would guess the Anthonys or their attorney leaked it.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry is going to try to keep the peace during Casey Anthony's murder trial, which is scheduled to start in less than weeks, on Tuesday, May 17.

The judge is expected to issue orders Wednesday about how the public can get a seat at the trial, as well as rules for those protesting at the Orange County Courthouse.

The court knows protesters are going to show up. They were all over the Anthony family's east Orange County neighborhood, at the crime scene where the remains of Casey's daughter, Caylee, were found, and even at the 2-year-old's memorial service.

Of course, protesters will be allowed outside the courthouse. It's anyone's right to free speech. But the judge's order will limit exactly where they can protest.

Judge Perry said there will be two "free speech zones" where people will be allowed to gather.

Court administrators said this is for safety reasons, and to be sure not to disturb other business at the courthouse.
