OVERVIEW
 

This is my friends baby who was a victim of child abuse on April 20th 2011 in the small town of Ava, Missouri.
 
Britni Leigh Tyra (the father's ex-girlfriend) has now been charged with Felony Child Abuse, and has other charges pending. The father was working while the ex-girlfriend watched this child when he was abused. The parents of this child were separated at the time of the abuse and have since reunited their family.
 
I'm so scared that she will not get the punishment she deserves!!!
 
The baby is doing better. He has no internal damage and his eye sight is going to be ok.
 
Please help us to seek justice for baby Karson.
 
We are demanding that:
1. Bail for Britni Leigh Tyra be set at $500,000.
2. The Scribner family be immediately provided with a victims advocate.
 3. Judge Craig Carter recuse himself or be taken off the case.
 4. The prosecutor (Walls) recuse himself or be taken off the case.
5. The case be moved out of Douglas County and a special prosecutor assigned.

I'm not sure yet.  I wanted to post asap because it sickened me, but still need to do some more research.  It was sent to me by a family member.

How can we help..we need a news article and addresses to these judges and prosecutors and to know WHY they  they need to removed from the case.... are they relatives or friends of the accused and her family?

Can you or your friend get us that info?

Thank God this baby will be ok. How horrible for this to happen. You know I have thought this so many times. Why oh why do parents of small children think it is ok to live with someone that they hardly know or just met on the internet and then leave their small children to be watched by them.  I just don't get it and I probably never will.

This is sad to say and I am sure the parents and grandparents and all involved want some long prison time for the woman that did this and I don't blame them one bit. Probably the charges are not what they expected or wanted them to be.

I am so sorry this happened to your family's friend but I am very thankful that the baby will be ok.

Thanks all.  I do not know this precsious lil' guy or the family.  It was just brought to my attention on FB.  Now that we know he is going to be ok, Praise God!  By signing the petition, I pray this evil person pays.  This abuse to children, just HAS to stop!  I just can't fathom anybody doing this kind of abuse, nor mothers who kill there babies.  All I ask is,  What is our world coming to?  It is people like the Monkeys who continue to fight for the innocent.  Nobody can ask for more, but to pray to God to have mercy on these innocent children.

Exactly! An eye for an eye, or more.  This woman wouldn't be alive when I got done with her.  These pics sicken me!  Sadly, it's only one in so many other cases.  I am appalled and in shock of these people who can do this.
