I understood she had a kidney transplant and needed labs monthly.  They do this to ensure their is no rejection happening.

Both yesterday and today, Casey has been seated sandwiched between Ann Finell and Dorothy Simms. (Away from "the boys.")

hmm, would they take somebody as juror knowing they might leave, even though they have alternates?  Anyway, somebody posted above, she already had her transplant, so these are probably just maintenance labs to make sure her new kidney is not rejecting.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Day three of jury selection for Casey Anthony's murder trial began on Wednesday, and for the second time since her trial started, she cried as the judge read the charges against her. She is charged with first-degree murder in the death of daughter Caylee Anthony.

I should have said above that I did make out the "two year old" remark.  Sad, that reminded me of Caylee.

I am cracking up over that lady bailiff sitting behind ICA.  She's watching her like a hawk!
Also, these people who can't be away from their significant others (the men who's wifes don't want to be alone, and the women who've never been away from their hubbies).  I love my DH, but come one!

Good point and I cannot imagine that the defense will allow this woman as you saw him continuing to question her on more issues almost like he wanted to catch her in something else as to why she should not serve.

Point being, does some one who is getting a second chance for life in a kidney tranplant going to be a good defense juror of some one who took a life?

Hi O4....yep for sure....but IMO he is still trying everything possible to drag the jury selection on as long as possible. He stated in the media that JP could not seat a jury in a week and I think he will do everything within his power to drag it out to prove himself right!!

Sunny, I didn't watch NG, I will have to go look for the transcript now.
JB better handle ICA carefully if he's ever "handled her" before.  If he's done anything at all inappropriate with her, she'll squeal like a pig, once she's convicted for sure.  If not sooner.

I am guessing that she has already had the transplant and that the labs are just part of the post-transplant monitoring.
