#3340

(I am trying to take notes until Seme gets back.  Big boots to fill)

No hardship or financial issues for this lady even though she will not be paid.  Has enough money to pay for bills and willing to make sacrifice.  No family responsibilities.  Works for Target.  Has no children but is married.  Husband in good health.  CC trying to find something that will make her service an issue.

She has been asked to report back.

I believe the attorneys are given a list of the prospective jurors when each panel is brought in.

I have seen papers being distributed to them.

I am willing to bet names are on those papers, along with some other information. Like age, where they are employed, etc.

#3062 - Male

Believes service would impose financial hardship.  Primary moneymaker, has family, of sorts.  Job would only pay him half of his income; new home owner.

Dismissed for cause - financial hardship

I still want to know if the state and duhfense can see the potential jurors names.
If they can, I'd be on the lookout for anyone following me.
Does anyone know?

I want to know that, too....

If they could see names, why wouldn't someone have picked-up on the fact that there was a potential juror that
is on the witness list?

I was watching the Former Court TV Channel (don't know the name, lol) and the commentators were discussing if they were the attorneys in this case they would be googling, looking up facebook, twitter, etc. on all these jurors.  I was shocked, and thought that would be the number one reason to get yourself excluded, legally, of course.  If they're admitting to doing that much, I'll bet they would go further such as PI's and whatever else they can do.  Scary, IMO

Found another live stream: http://www.tampabay.com/specials/2011/video/casey-anthony-trial-video/

This is most likely only going to be active during the jury selection process.

They're probably googling them while they're answering the judge's questions.

#3281 - Lady

Not a hardship but inconvenience.  No financial concerns or family concerns.  Single with no family at home.  Will be compensated at work.

CC curious as to juror's plans for summer.  Elective surgery scheduled but can be rescheduled.  No family or relatives (or children?) to take care of?  Only 25 year old child.

Called to report on Friday.

61 survived first round and a panel of 40 scheduled to come in now -- per Judge Perry.

Maybe going into a little "overtime" per Perry because once he starts, he is going to talk to them all.

Recess until next panel is seated.

I agree. Jeremy Lyons is probably busy snooping on all of those people that have been asked to come back for round 2.
If any of them gets any strange phone calls, we'll hopefully find out.

haha..They're finishing the last batch...court will be extended.
Hope Bozo's going to his his fav. tv shows.

I wonder if between Monday and today, employers of prospective jurors have realized their company name is being broadcast as is the fact that they may or may not be good corporate citizens? Seems like a lot more people have employers willing to pay for the 2 months than the Monday and Tuesday's batches.
