If they can, I'd be on the lookout for anyone following me.
Does anyone know?

I am pretty sure they can.....I think both sides as well as the judge have copies  the jury questionairre which I just posted. It's a one page minimal info form... their name is on it

So....WHY didn't any member of the defense team "recognize" that woman's name - she on the witness list!!

I believe they did and used it to their advantage....

I felt strongly regarding that yesterday due to Bozo's undeniable smirk.

(I am trying to take notes until Seme gets back.  Big boots to fill)

No hardship or financial issues for this lady even though she will not be paid.  Has enough money to pay for bills and willing to make sacrifice.  No family responsibilities.  Works for Target.  Has no children but is married.  Husband in good health.  CC trying to find something that will make her service an issue.

She has been asked to report back.

I was joking yesterday and told my hubby that they should go to the homeless shelter and get people who would love a hotel stay, hot meals and 30 dollars a day.  I was just kidding though, I wonder if JBP was really serious about this?  The law seems to be that the jurors have to be chosen random from driver's license, generated from a computer program.  This sure worries me as an appellate issue, maybe that is why Baez is all for it.  We got a lot of good people today and I sure don't want anything to mess it up.

I think the only distinction is that he spoke with media BEFORE, she was yaking with potential jurors inside the courtroom.   I believe she should have been held in contempt & removed from the witness list.

She should have let the court know as soon as she realized she was called as a potential juror...I'm sure she would have been dismissed immediately and could have slipped out the door without disrupting the day's proceedings.IMO

Was Simms giving Casey instructions on how to act?  She showed her crossing her arms in front of her.  Anyone see that?

I did and yes, I think she was showing her to keep her hands down and quit fidgeting with her hair, clothing etc.
