Anna this is just perfection on four legs!  You can tell the horse knows it has done a great job and I love the swishing tail.  As though to say "Watch me - I'll show you other horses how to do this properly"
Thank you so much for this link.

Tibro,
Like you, that tail swish just said it all for me.  Was like punctuation!  Yep, she knew exactly what she was doing and put that little extra oomph into her moves with that tail action.

That is one intelligent horse.  Getting one to change a gait at all is difficult but I cannot even begin to imagine the training required for this.  It has to be a horse with an aptitude for it and who loves her trainer very much not to become frustrated.

Yes, she knew she did good, too!  She did, for sure.

What a magnificent animal!   Very Happy  It is almost as though it is a more evolved species of horse than we commonly encounter.  Makes me smile to think about her.

A horse like that costs well in excess of six figures too  Shocked daughter did hunter/jumper for about 8 years until it became to expensive for us to continue with, but she never attempted dressage for you do have to have one very expensive horse for it. We went to the Atlanta olympics and I videotaped all of the horse events, I should convert that tape to digital and post parts of it. It truly was remarkable the command the british team had over the dressage horses. I was amazed.

I saw the Lippizaner show in January.  Fabulous.

Love the horse skipping!
