CJBP has limited each side to 30 min. ea. for voir dire.

That's for General Voir Dire. (Not the publicity or death penalty parts.)

If I understand correctly.

They could blame anyone but KC as she has always been the victim..........In the back of my mind I cannot get past that remark KC made when she first went to jail - "Don't worry, I haven't told them anything" - It always felt to me that there was a GIANT family secret that the Anthonys were so afraid of her telling once she got out of their grip.

Turbo..you know I respect you..but..I always thought that remark was very one sided..typical Casey talking about herself and herself only.  When people are arrested most know in a situation like this to remain silent and let their lawyer talk.  She was quite chatty with LE up until her arrest.  I think she was simply trying to let Cindy know that she was not talking about anything to save her own skin..ie taking care of herself..I just think she was so zoned in on herself and herself alone it never crossed her mind to think any other way.

Poor guy just lost 2 days pay for nothing.

I would be livid. They could have done him 1st, and get it over with him.  Poor guy.  I hope he was paid at least.

Question... so these people that are picked, do they have to go through more questioning or are they picked as jurors? I have only been on one jury and never got asked questions, just picked. So I really don't know how this works. TIA JSM

I think there is one more tier, on Friday. I have never seen it done this way..and I am still not sure I understand why JP does it this way, but it's his way and he is the boss

Does any one know what these people do all day wating to be called? It must be maddening. Hope they have the board games at the ready.
I was wondering the same thing. No news, internet, newspapers, magazines. I guess they have them in a room watching reruns of the Royal Wedding.
The jury summons strongly suggests bring books to read.
Damn, are they allowed to read the entire collection of the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys mysteries?

They have been through 5 today. That included publicity, death penalty and general voir dire.

They will continue doing that with #6, #7, etc.

Recess until 8:20 AM

Wait a minute, is the judge going to allow or not allow "death in a can" to be used in court as evidence to be presented to the jury?

Does anyone know what they are not having the hearing about Dr. Vass that was previously set for 8:00 a.m., Friday, in the morning?

JP just said we'll see you at 8:30 a.m.

So general voir dire for only 30 minutes and as long as they want on DP and publicity?  UGH

If the prosecution is going to try and crack open a can, then they better be prepared with case law and then JP will "consider" it, but is sounds like he's not going to allow it.

KC seemed to be fine in court today.

I'm wondering if Baez went to see her last night and they "sorta" worked it out?
