Four of the five potential jurors will return for more questioning at 8:30am on Friday.

Jury selection is being held outside Orlando because of intense pretrial publicity.

The first three days of jury selection were spent narrowing down a pool of 200 possible jurors. Those who weren't dismissed because of personal conflicts or hardships have advanced to this round.

The judge hopes to have a jury in place to begin opening statements in Orlando on Tuesday.

It was Judge Belvin Perry's intention to question 36 people Thursday, but with only two completed at 3 p.m., he sent all but three of the rest home for the day.
The judge apologized to the jury pool, accepting full blame for having them wait for so long.
"Hopefully I will be a better judge of time in the future," said Perry.
In all, four jurors were retained: three men and one woman. The fifth potential juror questioned was excused due to financial hardship.
Court adjourned just after 7:30 p.m.

  Caylee had nothing to do with any abuse Casey endured, if indeed that happened. She was a defenseless child. Considering the tape on mouth, triple bagging, non reporting of her missing, chloroform, driving around with your own child's corpse in the car and Caseys behavior for the 31 days her daughter was missing...it does not look like an accident to me.

Many people have endured abuse of all sorts and did not murder their child. It seems to me Baez had this defense planned from early on and that is why Casey has not seen her parents in so long.

I would like to know what her conversation was was about on that first day she says her daughter was missing. Casey had everyone believe she was at work. What exactly did she do that day? I think about all those phone calls she made. Who does all that calling when they are supposedly at work?

I know we are not supposed to joke around, but I sure have enjoyed some of the lighter moments here to lighten up the mood a bit,

Hi Shell, yeah sometimes a light moment is needed. This is going to be a very aggravating trial. I'm sure I'm not going to like how Jose paints Casey in the poor victim light. Caylee will take the back burner to her Mom, as she did her entire life.
 
I can't wait for the trial to start and the State pulls out it's big guns and really lets Casey in on how much they have against her. She'll be crying and hyperventilating then!!

It’s not as if the 31 days of men and parties while your daughter is missing were not bad enough …..to me, the worst of it is just what Shell mentioned . Driving that car around for many days with the smell of your own child’s death reeking out of it is just incomprehensible and has to be one of the most cold blooded things I could imagine. How could she not have been completely haunted every time she drove it?

I remember that there was to be a video hearing today.  Remember when the mics were left on yesterday and we could hear JA talking to Simms?  I heard him say something about being able to agree on something..............................I wonder if that is why the phone or video hearing is cancelled?
Perhaps they found a compromise?
 
Also I want to thank the faithful monkeys for the hard work done to help less experienced trial watchers understand the experience.

I won't start naming names as I always forget someone and feel terrible.
