Cruel and unusual?  Like putting your infant daughter in plastic bags and tossing her like garbage?

At first I considered Finnell reasonable in demeanor even given her strong fight against the DP BUT I gotta tell ya her manipulation & use of words to persuade a PJ has gotten on my last nerve.   She's also too preachy & needs to learn to not point that pen or finger toward whom she is speaking too, its rude & considered a dominate gesture.

Yup, like I said yesterday, she is sneaky and I cannot stand her.  Plus, her tone of her voice is so boring and monotonous, I cannot pay attention to her and I am sure some of the jurors will feel the same way they will zone out when she is speaking.

It was a email exchange released through dicovery between Bobo and Cindy.  She forwarded some info on Kronk and JG that DC dug up  and sent to him.  He emailed her back "good work Rosebud"

If the judge denies the jury smelling the cans. Can the state ask if the jury to go on a trip to the car its self? And do you guys think that the smell of death is still in the trunk?

Well, JBP did promise the jurors they would get out to see some of Orlando's sights!

Nothing dramatic happened today really other than teh one juror being called a liar. 

No real jurors seated yet. 

I only hear about the 12, but nothing about alternates yet. 

Still think no way they will finish tomorrow.  They are off Sunday (should not be, cept maybe JBP should have a break).  What about MOnday?  No way this will start Tuesday and JBP will be pissy about loss of money, if he loses money, no deposits and what not.

I would be willing to bet money it is still in the car. That smell permeates everything and an never be overcome. Yes, that is what I would do if he rules against them. I don't think he will rule against it.

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- A woman who said it is not her place to judge has become the first to be placed on the jury for Casey Anthony's first-degree murder trial.
During questioning Friday afternoon, the woman said she was not put on Earth to judge people.

"I just don't like to judge people, judge, to be honest, I am a true believer in my religion. God didn't put me here to point my finger where I should not," the woman said.

The state moved to strike the woman, but the defense objected because the woman was black.

The state said it wanted to exclude the woman because of her reluctance to judge other people, but Perry ruled that was not sufficient and sustained the defense's objection to the strike.

Isn't not guilty a judgement as well as guilty?

In my opinion he is trying too hard to appease the defense. He needs to not say it or do what he says. I am like you, it gives a bad impression that he is easily swayed.

I agree ZooMom.  He 'sounds' good when he speaks and lays down the law.  But just let Mason or Baez whine, and the Judge has often crumbled.  I feel bad for the Judge too.  He really needs to buck up, stand to his claims, or like you say, no one will respect him.  Seems like he's trying to keep everyone happy, and that's a no-win situation.
