I honestly thought they didn't need a reason, I thought if they didn't want them they just said it and they were gone. Isn't that what the 10 challenges are for?

They objected for cause & that was denied.   The State did not use a peremptory challenges.  The State can use one of their 10 PC's.

Ok so The PC is you can dismiss any 10 you like for no reason..

The only reason race was brought up is because the defense made a stink over it in earlier days of voir dire, it wasnt what the judge based his ruling on an objection for cause.   Yes, the State can use one of their peremptory challenges in back strike.

Ok i wasn't even thinking about race. I was concerned that she did a complete 180. So basically the the defense did that to force the state to use one of their PC. Which is fine worth it keep it moving!

Thinking the juror went home and someone said:  Oh, that is about that white chick that killed her kid.  That brought about the 180 for the reasons I gave a few minutes ago.
Back to reading and hanging in the rafters now.

I think she is starting to show the everyday wear and tear.  I fully expect her in heavy eye makeup the first few days of the trial..and it will be smeared all over her face by the end of the day.  That anit-anxiety medicine is not a miracle worker..and they can not so over medicate her that she is a zombie either. 

That shirt is a bad color for her and style..the ruffles do not soften her features at all..plus thats like a bohemian shirt..which means it is supposed to be big and blousey (not tailored to fit like that)  worn with a flowing skirt.  Yea..that look is back in style ..but you got to work that look..not sit stoned face in it.   And hey..I actually liked the other shirts this week..better then what Cindy use to bring her.  Poor thing.. she is relying on the Big Momma Bolin to be her stylist.

And why don't they ever put her in a skirt and ultra fem clothes..she has harsh features to me and needs some softening up if you want the jury to believe she is a victim instead of a  cold blooded killer.

i hate when the race card is used in any way shape or form but if it needs to be used in some way to make the jury demographics equivalent to orlando's demographics then i guess i have to be ok with it so that it never becomes a basis for appeal.  it's still frustrating though. i think all people regardless of race should be placed on the jury based on if they are qualified to fairly hear the case, not the color of their skin. the political correctness in this country is crazy. this is about an innocent 2 year old murdered baby, not race BOZO.

Race may not be used to disqualify a potential juror, nor can it be used as the basis to seat a juror. The computer picks the jury pool. The state and defense have to go with what they get. While they could have gone next door to the homeless shelter to look for more minorities, they can't be allowed in or disallowed due to race, especially not just to create an ethnic balance representing that of Orlando.

Do we know for sure that Bolin is providing the clothes?  What's wrong with a nice suit? This button down shirt and pants combo screams Cindy-style to me.  CA never came across as feminine to me, and my guess was that she's dressing ICA in stuff she herself would wear.  But I am loving seeing Casey suffer in those boxy ill-fitting clothes...and I know she's suffering cuz she's such a narcissist.
